I remember the "******" comments pretty vividly. But I haven't see any users here openly use racial slurs in regards to Mayweather/Hatton. Youtube may be a different story but I don't use that site much anymore except for a few boxing shows once or twice a month.

This is obviously a touchy issue for you though since you've witnessed racial hatred in regards to Mayweather. I didn't know that. But morons will be morons and you've demonstrated that you're above that.

Both of your points are well-taken and honestly, the only reason that I tend to sometimes defend Mayweather with the same veracity seen by a few other fans on here is merely due to what has been mentioned by Dios and more generally because respect from the opposing side seems to be lacking. People like VIVA Mexico, Wiley and Wlad OWNs make different threads almost every day basically repeating the same B.S. by way of ad nauseam fallacy or proof by assertion. They say the same thing over and over until people actually believe that it must be true. Floyd is a coward, he dodged Tszyu, he's overrated, he lost to Castillo, he's an *******, he beat his wife, blah, blah. That **** is annoying so sometimes you just feel like quelling the situation by being just as intense, although that only leads to a cyclic battle, until of course one of the said fighters lose, and that won't even shut half of them up most of the time.

I'm not going to go tit for tat with anybody in here but I will say this...

All of this hating on Ricky Hatton makes you guys look worse than Hatton's most diehard supporters. Even they acknowledge that Hatton will probably be beaten by Mayweather on December the 8th. Going out of your way to degrade Ricky's performances, questioning every last detail of his record, and going so far to say that he's physically restricted from beating Mayweather make you look much worse than any of Hatton's most ******* supporters.

Hatton has a chance to beat Mayweather, because he has a style that might be able to beat Mayweather. You guys act as if Ricky will be relying on the "sweet science" to outpoint Floyd when he's going to be doing his damndest to make sure that points aren't an issue. And all of this negativity and hate will back fire on you if Hatton beats Mayweather because I'll be sure to bump all of the threads.

I realize it's a big "if" that Hatton can beat Mayweather but anything is possible in boxing. I remember people said Duran had no chance against Leonard, and Douglas had no chance against Tyson, and Frazier had no chance against Ali, and Ali had no chance against Liston, and Pavlik had no chance against Taylor, and Hopkins had no chance against Trinidad, and Barrera had no chance against Hamed, etc.... Get it? Got it? Good.

I realize I'm probably coming off as a huge Hatton fan but I'm not. I just take it very personally when a poster decides to openly disrespect any fighter. They actually get in the ring and put their lives and pride on the line, you guys sit by and type about it. I think they're the ones with balls here.

I agree with that, boxing is in a controlled environment with padded gloves, a referee and a doctor sitting by the ring.

The only thing that takes balls IMO is not the physical things of pain and punches, but the act of putting yourself in the spotlight and being willing to take a beating in front of everyone you ever met.

There is nothing wrong with saying boxing takes balls. If you asked half the people you know if theyd do it they would probably say no and a percentage of the half that said yes would give up after the first training session. Fighting a war takes something totally on another level but i see no reason to rag on someone who says boxing takes balls.

And he is probably right when he says most people who disrespect fighters to such a high level just watch fights and type on the net. If they were boxers they would have respect for the mental and physical strain it takes on a person and that anybody willing to do it should be respected.

My original statement was sarcastic in that you have posted the OPINION of ONE PERSON.
Just because one Hatton fan thinks Hatton will lose has absolutely no bearing on the outcome of this fight , the same as you and Dios and any other Fan.

To say Hatton has no chance of winning is pretty idiotic.
Anyway we don't have much longer to wait now and the two people who really know how the fight will pan out will actually be in the ring doing the business.

I hope whoever does win the fight does it in a decisive fashion.

I spoke with a Brittish guy about this a couple weeks ago.. his prediction was as follows "Well, Mayweather pretty good, he has a shot.. but I think Hatton will win."

I responded "Well I hope you're right, I always enjoy a good upset."

I have never seen comments like this coming from anyone on this site, and if I did I would take serious issue with it. Youtube is a different matter, it seems to attract King Idiot from around the globe, but if it's Youtube you have issue with then maybe you should take your well researched diatribes to Youtube.
