"Hatton has no chance", says British boxing fan

I'm not going to go tit for tat with anybody in here but I will say this...

All of this hating on Ricky Hatton makes you guys look worse than Hatton's most diehard supporters. Even they acknowledge that Hatton will probably be beaten by Mayweather on December the 8th. Going out of your way to degrade Ricky's performances, questioning every last detail of his record, and going so far to say that he's physically restricted from beating Mayweather make you look much worse than any of Hatton's most ******* supporters.

Hatton has a chance to beat Mayweather, because he has a style that might be able to beat Mayweather. You guys act as if Ricky will be relying on the "sweet science" to outpoint Floyd when he's going to be doing his damndest to make sure that points aren't an issue. And all of this negativity and hate will back fire on you if Hatton beats Mayweather because I'll be sure to bump all of the threads.

I realize it's a big "if" that Hatton can beat Mayweather but anything is possible in boxing. I remember people said Duran had no chance against Leonard, and Douglas had no chance against Tyson, and Frazier had no chance against Ali, and Ali had no chance against Liston, and Pavlik had no chance against Taylor, and Hopkins had no chance against Trinidad, and Barrera had no chance against Hamed, etc.... Get it? Got it? Good.

I realize I'm probably coming off as a huge Hatton fan but I'm not. I just take it very personally when a poster decides to openly disrespect any fighter. They actually get in the ring and put their lives and pride on the line, you guys sit by and type about it. I think they're the ones with balls here.

Actually, the last digit's place counts the draw, not the second. So 43-1-0 = 43 wins, 1 loss, and no draws. 43-0-1 = 43 wins, no losses, and one draw.

No doubt that some of the Hatton love/Mayweather hate is a race issue. The same **** went down with Taylor and Pavlik. But I'd be willing to bet the majority of Ricky's fans are polite and respectful Brits who are just supporting a fighter from their area. At least, that's the conclusion I've come to after conversing with so many of them here.

Boxing is just a sport that's based upon many variables that include but are not limited to: speed, power, combinations, stamina, chin, heart, charisma, level of opposition, age, record, etc... And for some unfortunate people ethnicity and nationality plays a big role in backing a fighter as well.

There's literally no difference between Mayweather fans and Hatton fans that I can see. They both support their fighter strongly on here day in and day out, they just differ on what they want to see in a fighter and they just happen to be from different parts of the globe.
