I find it laughable that some posters refer to Marg as a coward. The man fought two of the most avoided men in boxing in consecutive fights. Yeah ok, he may have come up short against Williams, but IMO he can still do serious damage at welterweight. People need to cut the guy a bit of slack.

Probably because he is scared to have a rematch with Kermit Cintron.

i don't think he is. he's a bad loser but not a coward. he should be allowed a tune up fight first and then can go on to the bigger fights

Ring #7 Luis Collazo hasn't signed a fight for the future as of now.
Ring #2 Paul Williams doesn't have a fight.

But I'm sure Ring #unranked Golden Johnson would expose any of those 3 bums listed above.

if you were so picky about who fighters fight then you wouldnt be a mayweather fan. he has fought mostly bums in his career and ducked the best.

margarito is no coward. he fought williams already when he could have ducked him for a bigger fight and bigger payday. he also fought clottey a guy no one wants to fight and he beat him with an injured wrist and ankle. he also knocked out cintron and almost ruined his career. the only coward at welterweight is maywether.

It's most definately a tune up....and as stated previously the promoters want to ensure that he is good to go.
