Weight says **** about who is the bigger man. Chavez Jr. has been @168 at fight-night, so was Jermain Taylor against Pavlik. Does this mean that CHavez is as big as Taylor?? Or Hopkins coming fight-night 168, nearlly the same weight DLH had against Chavez Sr. 2. But compared to Hopkins Oscar looks like a little schoolboy.
PACMAN came all the way from 106, while Diaz is a natural LW. So there is a big seize-advantage for Diaz.

All Elite fighters have done this!, this aint nothing new!
Because Diaz can beat him. Pacquiao fans don't like to see any fighter who isn't as old as dirt go up against their man. The excuses are already rolling in and it hasn't even been 24 hours since Juan ****ed up Julio.

Pac loves fighter smaller, older fighters. It's about time he fights a younger guy to see what he's really made of. You can only go so far fighting aging legends and that well has run dry. Pacquiao has nowhere to go but to challenge Diaz at 135lbs.

And Pac comes into his fights around 144lbs, so the weight will be no big difference. I'd bet he weighs as much as DIaz on fight night.
You using Floyd as an example is not a good one. Floyd is simply an exception to the rule, his talent and skills are unmatched by anyone fighting today, Baldo was a friggin' journeyman. Are you trying to compare Baldo to Juan now(lol).

Actually, Floyd's move to 154lbs still doesn't compare to if PAC decides to move to 135lbs. Floyd would have to fight at 160lbs. Now doesn't that seem ridiculous.

How many fighters do you actually know that have made such huge weight jumps in their careers and have had success, not too many!

Delahoya miserably failed against B-HOP . DLH cherry picked his way through the weightclasses. Hell, he couldn't even look halfway decent in beating Felix Sturm.

Roy Jones Jr. cherry picked the weakest of the weak heavyweight champions, in John Ruiz.

Roberto Duran got ko'd by Hearns, got beat by Hagler, and was 1-1 w/ Leonard. He did beat Barkley, but he was also looked at as the weakest link in the middleweight division.

What did Diaz weight in at for last nights fight? And what did Pacquiao weight in at a week ago against Barrera?

If you need me to help you out just let me know.

Oh, and Floyd Mayweather also started his career at 106lbs but he had the balls to fight Champions in every division all the way up to 154lbs. And Floyd only has a 1 inch advantage in height over Manny.

This is the exact response I was looking for. This was the reason why I came up with this thread. I'm giving y'all your own medicine, this is how you guys have been sounding through the years as PAC was running wild on your overrated FHOFers.

Haha, How does your own dose of "excuse medication" feel?

Just look at the response I'm getting(lmao) Y'all are getting worked up ain't ya!

It was just like how the Conquistadors set y'all up for the big trap. didn't mean to get y'all riled up(lmfao)

First off, no comparison in Baldomir to Diaz, so you can take the words you put in my mouth out now. Secondly, baldomir was the biggest story in boxing in 2006. He was a journeyman at first but when Mayweather fought him was was a recognized CHampion, with high profile wins over Judah and Gatti. And he was THE RING CHampion at that, not an alphabet title holder.

Discredit Baldomir all you want, but the truth is he was a top ranked fighter when Mayweather took him on.

Actually, Floyd's move to 154lbs still doesn't compare to if PAC decides to move to 135lbs. Floyd would have to fight at 160lbs. Now doesn't that seem ridiculous.
I simply cannot understand any of this, I don't know if it's humor or you actually believe what you typed. Are you serious when you say that Mayweather moving from 106 to 154 doesn't compare to Pac moving from 106 to 135?

How many fighters do you actually know that have made such huge weight jumps in their careers and have had success, not too many!
Floyd Mayweather Jr, Roy Jones Jr, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, and that's just from the current crop of elite fighters.

Delahoya miserably failed against B-HOP . DLH cherry picked his way through the weightclasses. Hell, he couldn't even look halfway decent in beating Felix Sturm.
Yeah Oscar failed against B-Hop and got a gift decision against Sturm. That's just what happens when you're a superstar in the sport. It's happened to many fighters before and it'll happen many times again.

Roy Jones Jr. cherry picked the weakest of the weak heavyweight champions, in John Ruiz.
Seems to me like you hate on the guys with god given talent. Ruiz was a ****ty Champion, I'll give you that much but Roy also has a hell of a lot of good competition on his resume including James Toney and Bernard Hopkins.

Lots of older fighters have cherry picked their competition as they've gotten older. That doesn't take away the fact that Ruiz was a recognized Champion and Jones was jumping up in weight yet again.

Roberto Duran got ko'd by Hearns, got beat by Hagler, and was 1-1 w/ Leonard. He did beat Barkley, but he was also looked at as the weakest link in the middleweight division.
So far you've brung up a bunch of guys who have nothing to do with Pacquiao fighting Diaz. What's your point about Duran and Hearns? And better yet what do they have anything to do with this fight?

Say what you will about any of us being "worked up" but the last time I checked this wa a boxing discussion forum where users discuss possible fights, past, present and future. And this is a possible future fight, that a lot of people are dying to see actually.

The last time I checked you were one of Pacquiao's biggest nuthuggers on this site, and you're already making bull**** excuses for Pacquiao's loss before the fight even happens. So don't talk to me about "excuses".

Your arguments are flawless and perfect in formation. Still doesn't change the fact that you're ****ting your pants at the thought of Pacquiao moving up to fighter a young, undefeat Champion in his prime.

I've made my points already. This discussion is over. I refuse to have a battle of wits (or facts for that matter) with an unarmed man (or boy as the case may be).

Don't worry about it Soldier, when you battle Pac fans as long as I have you come to expect cheap shots and nonsensical ramblings.
