Do we have to actually write this out like a score card so you can see how a 10-6 round doesn't mean **** when you're getting your ass handed to you round wise over the fight?
Who gives a **** how you saw it. A judge openly admitted that he f**ked up, and had he known that he could score a 10-6 round. PAC would've won PERIOD

Obviously, the judges and many of the boxing writers sitting ringside gave more than just the first round for PAC. These writers/judges have been to all kinds of major boxing events scoring fights. It's their vocation. you on the other hand is some schmuck on the internet. What do you know?

Paq's left wouldn't even be able to break past the gloves of Diaz, even if it did, it would resemble Freitas' best punch at best. I mean I really doubt Paq's handlers would even risk moving Paq up a division, they can't afford a risk like that.

No one has ever done this in the history of the sport.

The heavyweight equivalent of this is KOing Lennox Lewis twice, then KOing Tyson once, then KOing Ali twice in a trilogy.

        Unprecedented.
Damn dawg, it really isn't that damn serious, Pacquiao is good, but I be damned if he hasn't fought war scarred vets who were past their prime and mopped them up. If you beat guys withing 5 fights of their official retirement, you have really beaten a shell of the former fighter. Is Trever Berbick considered one of the greats of all time just because he whooped Ali's ass? Was it the one sided drubbing that Holmes put on Ali the fight that maid people say he had arrived? Does Vitali Klitschko deserve mountains of credit for being ahead on the scorecards against and older out of shape Lewis? Does Danny Williams deserve mad props for Ko'ing Tyson or that other guy Mcbride or whatever that just got whooped by the "Foul Pole"? He's not retiring these guys, EM and MAB had taken worlds of punishment before they got to Pacquiao, more punishment from one another than anyone else. I'm not trying to discredit Pacquiao, I'm just saying put his accomplishments in the proper prospective will ya.

        • SHUT THE HELL UP PEOPLE!

This is a Juan Diaz-Manny Pacquiao thread! Stop bringing that JMM, EM, MAB piece of crap!

          On topic now!

After seeing the Diaz-Diaz fight I'm not really sold out on Juan. ****! With that volume of shots that landed flush on Julio's face he could've tasted canvas at least once if that was PAc's! Juan's never near of knocking him out or even score a KD! Juan's punching power is OVERRATED!

He's all PRESSURE, no power! Yeah, he made his last 2 opponents quit but Freitas is a known quitter, and I assume Julio too.

Actually, I was even more affraid of a Julio win. The guy can box and brawl! IMO, Julio is a harder challenge than Juan for Pac. Juan is 'tailor' made for Pac's relentless attack.

PAC vs JUAN Diaz = 60/40
PAC vs JULIO Diaz = 40/60

How is he tailor made of Pacquiao if Juan throws more constant and more combinations. Juans a better boxer then pacquiao and has had less fights. Pac has the southpaw stance which might bother juan a bit. Since, julio is a dumb ass and not a natural southpaw and just an idiot boxer who switches back and fourth when he should stay orthodox or whatever his natural stance is. As Lennox said, its best to stick with on style of fighting unless you're a freak of nature like Cotto and can switch stances. Cotto does it well. Well, pacman might be slightly faster but he definitely doesn't have the same constant pace Juan has.

                I agree.

Juan is simply the naturally bigger man, plus his swarming non-stop pressure is all wrong for Pacquiao who doesn't really know how to fight on the backfoot. Unless Pac brings his speed and power with him at 135 and box (??), I don't really see how Pac can keep Juan's face off of him.

Pac should stay at 130 where he has unfinished business with Marquez. Guzman will box his ears off, Soto could wear him down and Valero could spark him in an exciting gunfight.

Diaz-Katsidis would prove to be a more entertaining and competitive fight imo. it has foty written all over it.

Juan is more relentless, he digs his face in his opponents' face and throws volumes of punches non-stop. It would really benefit Pacquiao's health to stick-and-move, like he did in the rematch with Barrera.

                    • just read an article at pacland ...

pac is willing to fight Juan Diaz for the right PRIZE (lol), Juan Manuel should really consider his options now and don't over price himself, fighting pac is still the biggest payday for him and if he manages to beat pac, bigger things will come his way...
