Gatti is a legend with a heart as big as Texas. He is a future Hall of famer.

He wasn't shot. He was probably top 20 p4p.

.....lol. That sums up why your opinions are off-base 90% of the time.

Gatti wasnt shot but in the lighter weights you can get old over night. The biggest problem was that he had the WORST game plan against floyd. He tried to box him when he should of been using head movement, getting inside and putting pressure on him for every second of the round

The only way gatti gets into the HOF is if they factor in excitement. i enjoyed watching him, but he wasnt even close to top 20 p4p.

ANYONE who thinks Gatti wasn't shot to pieces simply does NOT know what they are talking about.
He was never Top 10 anyway even in his prime.
Is fights with Ward are the only thing that stand out.
As for Castillo , I would say he was shot as well.
Not as bad as Gatti but defo shot.
Castillo would have beaten Gatti put it that way.
As usual the Floyd ball suckers replied to this thread trying to justify his lame opposition.
Proving even more that there opinions are not credible because they fail to see anything wrong with Floyd on any level.

i agree but regardless wether he was or was'nt Gatti has never been easy to find put it this way when Micky Ward can find you its obvious your not the most illusive fighter ,he was tailor made for PBF just like Baldomir another carefully hand picked PBF oponent just like Judah another fighter who PBF decided to fight at an oppurtune moment at his most vulnerable

he is fighting Hatton ffs why is'nt he fighting Cotto or Mosley thats what people really wanna see he only wants the winner of that when they could be damaged goods after a real hard fight ,and if Mosley wins it its just more miles on the clock by the time a potential fight with PBF is made

Gatti was outboxed by Joe Hutchinson. But he got a gift decision win by his Montreal fans/judge.

He was never quite in the same league as Mayweather's jock straps.

you can have an arguement whether he was shot or not.. some say yes, some say no because of the 5 win streak.. i do believe he was going to lose anyway.
that fight also put me in tears man.. it was so hard for me to watch some1 i look up to getting beat up like that.. i dont kno if he was shot..

i think he shouldve retired sooner thats all.. hes taken soo much punishment in his career for US his fans.. so anyone who disrespects gatti should just keep their mouths quiet..

have respect ppl.. i swear sometimes reading **** on how much ppl bash fighters gets me so angry..
