He can't make anything under 140 now.

Granted Cotto will have 10 pounds or so on him on fight night, but with Manny's speed and footwork, none of that is even going to matter because Cotto will not be landing ****.
he can make 130 if he wanted to.

      he just doesn't want to.

when people get rich and happy they don't want to watch their weight so much and cut so much.

i guarantee you if he had gotten beat at 135 by diaz , he'd be fighting at 130 still.

they'd have given floyd so much ****.

look at how much **** floyd is getting for marquez and he's the lineal champ at 135.

when you made the thread , pacquiao hadn't even won a 130 belt yet.
          Agreed.

But he was coming into fights weighing 144 on fight night, and is only an inch and a half shorter than Floyd who comes in at 150 on fight night. Plus he was P4P#2 at the time, and I knew that sooner or later the fight would become a real possibility.

Which is why I created the thread in the first place ; to be the first to predict it, and go on record about how I think it would go down.

          • I doubt Pac is scared of anyone..
I mean give him a pair of high heels most likely from Oscars wardrobe and he'd take Vlad on if he could...

our bet was if pac and floyd fight each other next we'll put a million on it.

they're not fighting each other next.

we'll bet again after pac-cotto and pbf-jmm is over with.

Not to ***** about a few pounds, but most Mayweather has come in at was 148. Fact is, Pacquiao has outweighed Mayweather in every division both he and Mayweather faught at.

                  • I hope Floyd is the underdog, and i want a similar performance like the last time Floyd was an underdog

winning every round, getting hit in single digits every round and knocking his opponent down 5 times

                      i have no idea.

but even at 147 he weighed almost the same as he did when he was fighting at 130.

trust me if he had gotten ktfo at 135 , he'd have gone back to 130.

cutting 10-15 lbs. is the norm nowadays anyway.
