After you are done with your shopping spree, tell me what store accepted boxingscene points as currency, because I would like to spend mine too.

I only lost 10K on Barrera. That's all I bet most times on any fight, 10K out of nearly 200K is nothing. And if you mean in terms of actual cash, I bet cash on Pacquiao. I bet with my heart with points only, never cash.

That and welterweights also gain more pounds then just staying at 147 too. So there'd still be a bigger weight difference.

In this case, another glaring problem is pac's style. You had better ****ing be a body puncher and a damn good one to compete with welterweights that average around probably 5'8-10".
See above post where I discussed height.

Well Floyd is 5'8... a 1 1/2 inch height advantage sucks for the shorter fighter, but it isn't an impossibility to overcome.

You nailed it with styles though, that's why the poll for the them fighting at 140 was such a wipeout.

With some of them, yes. Not with Mayweather though, he comes in at a trim 148lbs max on Welterweight fights. And Pac fans keep saying that the weight and height difference would be too great for Pac to overcome. I never knew 1 inch and 4lbs is a tremendous disadvantage.

you started out saying pac is afraid of floyd cause of an inch and for pounds.
when floyd and morales are about the same size
pac was not afraid of morales with his height advantage so why would he be scared of floyd cause of his?

                  Ridiculous.

It's totally understandable people feel so bitter when their guys lose to a smaller guy coming from 106 lbs.

Manny will lose eventually. He could even lose to Marquez or GUzman next year. But you're asking Manny to chew more than he can swallow.

Asking him to go one more division up is wishing for the small guy to get beat up. No matter who it is or what weight, you'd love to see him get beat up.

There's so much to do at 130. I won't be surprised someone asks Manny to fight Pavlik in 2009. The height difference is less than 1 foot anyway.

                  Totally ridiculous.

I mean, if Pac really thinks he has a chance, then he should move up and beat the #1 P4P fighter in the world. I guarantee you people would forget about not giving Marquez a rematch if he beat Mayweather.

                    Seriously, the proof is there.

Probably has something to do with the fact that he won't fight him for no amount of money in the world. He's content to fight retiring legends and up and coming prospects, but when he can't get those he takes guys wiht 10 losses on their record like Hector Velazquez.

My point is the fight could be made at any time but Pacquiao will have nothing to do with it. A fight that woul likely sell millions of PPVs around the world and not only make the fighters $20 mil each but settle the "p4p #1" debate.
