You people ***** that all Dios does is defend Mayweather, but when he makes a post that is not about him, you dig down to find some way to make the post about Mayweather.

    It's kind of lame.
if you read it again he compares the heavier guys in the division and mentions floyld. he's a good alt to debate with.

anyway floyld could dry out and fight the 140 people or actually come out and fight someone like cotto. until he does fight a prime welter weight like mosley or cotto then he isn't proven to be the best yet. p4p he is, but that's because of his resume and wins compared to a cotto. but that doesn't mean that cotto can't beat him.

Floydboys want to see Floyd fight Super Featherweight MP not Welterweight Cotto.

You have to realize, it is difficult for someone to talk about boxing without mentioning their favorite fighter. I mean, they have seen more of their fights than anyone else most likely.

Especially on this topic... there aren't very many people that I can think of recently who have not tried to make themselves as big as possible in their division.

        De La Hoya vs. Hopkins
        Jones Jr. vs. Ruiz
        Mayweather vs. De La Hoya

So unless you want him to just say there are fighters who don't dry out, but not give any examples... you might want to just let this slide.

i think someone physical appearance is who they are. flyold isnt the biggest guy in his division so you can't expect him to fully dominate toe to toe, true. but then there are guys who are way too big, or way too short. they are who they are, and it's there choice to fight in what division they can.

i mean tyson was short but he still went in there with some tall guys. he had great power and head movement.

floyld is small compared the the rest, but he has great skill.

if someone wants to fight in a bigger division then that's up to them, but they gotta fight the best and real threats if they claim to be the best.

you must be so desensitized to whats going on in BS not to see thru his thread. he even bolded specific statements for you, are you that naive? all this debates in other threads about pac vs pbf has gotten to him and he had to create a new one, by using the weight class argument to further lick floyd's nuts and bring down pac (see the red bolded statements). very clever eh? oh how he wish pac would jump to welterweight, skip L and LW just to face floyd.

Weight draining has to stop in general. It's unhealthy and hurts the sport more than it helps it. The weight classes, while there are too many, (like belts) don't really hurt the sport.

I don't think anybody can actually make an argument for allowing it to continue. You make a double weigh in. 1 the day before and 1 the day of. The fighter's weight can't fluctuate more than like 2 pounds. Wam, bam, thank you ma'am.

well I feel there could be something much more sinister than the cover of this story of the weight.

could be steriod use but nobody is going to blow up the whistle right now

Nah... we would still get the fights, but just at the ACTUAL weights they belong in.

                    Taylor-Pavlik @ 168.

                    Mosley-Cotto at 147 or 154, if necessary.

I have to believe that steroid use is not rampant. Otherwise, I can't follow the sport.

I do think there are 30% or so 'roiding. I have my doubts about Oscar. He wasn't really very ripped previously, and it seems that he has developed more musculature/definition in his 30's than he had in his 20's.

And he didn't say much when Vargas or Rico...OR SHANE got caught.
