It's obvious that Kellerman KNOWS HIS **** though, you can at least give him that.

Hell yeah Kellerman knows his **** I actually think Kellerman knows more about the nuiances of boxing than Merchant does. Like said they both have good and bad qualities. I just think Merchant is becoming nothing more than a angry drunk. Merchant has gotten to the age now where he is so old he can say just about anything out of him mouth and majority of the time people will let is pass because he is a old drunk.

I'm not a fan of Larry Merchant myself. But whatever. Football has John Madden. Anyone remember his "fill up the Thanksgiving day blimp with turkeys and drop them on poor people" comment on the Thanksgiving day game about 10 years back? They are about on equal footing as far as the nonsensical comments go.

I fully agree as I said in another post. He downgrades fighters and speaks in language only English majors can understand. BUT....
Just like when I was a kid, I hated Howard Cossell. Now, I wish he was back. The same is probably true with Larry. He is synomous with boxing and when he is gone, all of us that hate him will wish he was back. It would not be the same w/o him for sure, even though I despise him.
