Pac steps of the gas a little, for ONE fight, and he's not given any consideration for being p4p number 1?

Then what is Floyd doing there? He is complacent and easy on the gas in the majority of his fights.

    Double-standard.

No it isn't a double standard, you just don't understand the concept of p4p.. It means that Floyd is a better overall fighter or winner. That if they were in the same division, Floyd would be favored to win. That is all that it means, so displaying your skill is a huge part of the assessment and Pac's lack of skills is made up for with excitement, which he did not show last night.

Oh Jesus... I can't believe people really think that this performance is good enough to take the P4P #1 spot away from Mayweather.

People criticize Mayweather for not going after Baldomir.

People give Pacquiao a free pass for not going for the kill against Barrera.

        Lovely.

Pacman is a real fighter, floyd is a media invention and a legend in his own mind.

I think there's a fair debate to be had about that.. Pac v. Floyd at 130 lbs???

I'm not sure at all Floyd would be favored. In my view Pac would win that fight by KO. That's why I believe Pac should be #1 p4p.

Imagine what floyd would do to him every time he charges in with his left hand, pbf would hit him everytime and never get caught.
So overal there is no way pac man is p4p no1.
i agree completely! Though i don't think p4p is a matter of whether the ranked guys would beat eachother, Pac-man showed little progression in skill last night. people who said that Marquez had lost some skill shjould compare these two fights: Barera-Marquez and Pac-Barerra. Hell, then you can compare Pac-marquez... lol

130 was Floyd's best weight... and his biggest weapon was his defense. This doesn't bode well for Manny in a fantasy matchup.
