OKay. Let's say I agree with you now. FIrst of all, what does it prove? Second of all, what if Mayweather beats Hatton, more impressively than Hatton be Tszyu? Does that make Mayweather the man who beat the man, in your opinion? At the time Hatton fought Kostya, he fought what SOME might say was a passed-his-prime fighter. Mayweather is in a prime-vs-prime megafight. I'm not saying that Mayweather didn't duck Kostya, I don't think he did, so I'd state that he didn't.. But I wont, really. Because that's not important. Kostya didn't try his heart out for the fight, either. Give me PROOF of Kostya begging for a fight. I don't think it exsist. I doubt he ducked him either, it's just one of those fights that didn't happen. PLENTY throughout the history of boxing. It sucks, but it's not always a thing of people not wanting the fight. Sometimes, it's just fights not happening, by bad luck. Simple as that, in my opinion.

What does it prove? It proves that Floyd avoided a dangerous jr. welter to protect his perfect record, his superstar status (big money fights), and his so called "legacy". It negates the assertion that Floyd is the greatest jr welter of his era (not to mention "all time"). And, it gives further support to the already prevalent general consideration that Kostya Tszyu was indeed one of the all time great jr. welters. He's already a lock for HOF because he was the first in 30 years to unify the LWW belts (an historic achievement).

Why would the champion have to beg for a fight? If Floyd wanted to fight Tszyu, all he had to do was maintain his status as a ranked contender in the jr welter division and get a mandatory challenge. Tszyu would have had to fight Floyd or be stripped. Tszyu never left 140. Floyd is the one who ran to another division. Can't you see it? You think "calling out" another fighter publicly is proof of who really wanted who? That's silly. That's posturing. Floyd wanted no part of Tszyu in his prime. He may have taken Tszyu on in old age, or if he beat Hatton but looked washed up and vulnerable in doing so. But, if Tszyu had decisively beaten Hatton like the Tszyu of old, you would see those old network problems cropping up again.

Floyd had a couple years to fight Tszyu.. never did though, I say yes.

They were crazy for a Tszyu/Floyd fight way before Hatton/Tszyu.

But, Floyd skipped thru 140 without fighing Kostya Tszyu. That's fact...now bring on all the excuses and that's just exactly what they are...excuses. ****, Floyd could have moved up for Tszyu before 2004. But, of course he was locked in on 135 and "had to grow" as Dios has said.

The most pathetic one of all is when the Floyd camp said they "planned" on Tszyu after the Hatton fight (planning to fight Tszyu when he reached the ripe old age of 37-38), but "he lost so the fight was not possible anymore." Pathetic. It's a damn good bet that if Tszyu had stopped Hatton, we would still be hearing about all those network problems and injuries and that grandmother was sick, the kids have soccer practice, ad infinitem, ad nauseum.

After Bruseles, Mayweather said he wants to fight Arturo Gatti and Kostya Tszyu. He also said he wants to fight De La Hoya and Mosley, both of which are moving back down to 147. I notice he does not call out Cory Spinks or Winky Wright, and no mention of Vivian Harris.

Here is another one I just came across , , you have a fighter that gets knocked out by A but he knocks out C ,,,,, years down the road two fights are on the table , revenge your loss to A or fight the guy you already knocked out ,,,,, which fight should an all time great take ?
