Mayweather fought bruseslles to force the number 1 position to be gatti's mandatory, and then of course in the latter part of 04, Hatton fought tszyu and mayweather was tied to gatti at the start of 05, if Tszyu had beaten hatton, THEN you would have seen Tszyu/Mayweather MAYBE, but like i said, Tszyu was with showtime, mayweather with HBO, its really hard to see how this fight would have been made.
Hatton fought Tzsyu in 2005. Tzsyu top ten p4p 2001-2004. Sorry. The layoff and injury excuse just doesn't work. Look at his career record. Floyd ducked, just like Oscar, just like Mosely. They didn't want him at 140, guys.

and Tsyzu was never p4p #1 like you've claimed. at least not for a whole year. although he was ranked quite a few times. Tsyzu was a great fighter, but your description of him is just too much

and Im not saying this is the reason, but the big names might not have gone after Tsyzu because the 140 division was not that big. none of the fighters you mentioned stuck around at that weight for long at all. let me put it this way...Arturo Gatti was considered the #2 or #3 guy at 140 when Floyd fought him. by Ring Magazine.

and please, enough of these topics, Barrera vs. Pacquiao is tomorrow, cant we talk about that? theres plenty of time for this stuff when December draws near.
Man, get real. I remember that everyone was clamoring for a KT-Floyd fight back then but Floyd just didnt seem interested.

When you say seem, you mean, from what you saw/felt about the situation. But what you saw was Floyd call out Tszyu. I'm not saying he was sincere, but I don't know how the deals weren't made.. I don't know WHO wanted WHOM more. All I do know is, it SEEMED like Floyd called him out. Correct?

When was this? When Floyd was at 135 or after Kosta got stomped by Hatton? The window of opportunity was short and Tszyu never seemed that interested himself, considering that he's never beaten anyone of Mayweather's stature, with his best win being against Zab (who basically got caught off guard and got up too fast)..

This thread is full of of **** , Floyds jnr welter fights started in 04 so Im sure his first fight at this weight would not be with KT , during this time he called KT out and KT chose Hatton for the payday and they thought it was an easier fight ,, the only place Floyd ducked KT is in your dreams ,, look at the dates , be aware of the time of Kostyas injurys and time it all and its easy to figure that KT took the bigger payday Hatton instead of Floyd , at the time they paid KT his biggest purse to fight Hatton ,, and now Floyd is fighting the winner , what the **** do you want from him ,, I know to lose , well thats not happening any time soon , Dec 8 the bull**** stops .

Hell man everyone knew that that the best fight to be made in boxing was KT-Floyd, but Floyd, with all his publicity and hype-machine, never made a move towards its realization. On the other hand I read somewhere that KT wanted to fight Floyd.

What you don't understand and are not heeding is that Tszyu chose to fight Hatton instead and got beat up. Floyd never turned down that fight and actually wanted it. When Tszyu lost, Floyd wanted to fight Hatton, but Hatton declined. I swear it seems like some of you just tuned into boxing last year.
