Your right "he never". I wonder why? Tszyu "ran" from Mosely, Oscar, and Floyd? Give it up man. Tszyu stayed at 140 his whole career and held the belts. He didn't run from anybody. They moved up. They simply would not risk their superstar status on somebody that was that dangerous.

But at least we agree KT is HOF. For different reasons, but at least that is agreed upon. Ok? Let's put this to sleep. Peace friend.

      kostya is definitely HOF

he unified 140. all victories by KO. he may have been inactive but he fought quality in his division.. fighting former world champs as early as his 5th fight.

his knocked Judah out in 2 rounds.. mayweather took 12 to get a tight decision after Judah was already past it.

i have a lot of respect for kostya's career and it's not the aussie thing as outside the ring he does nothing for me.

also lets not forget with the fight he lost to philips he spent the entire lead up in the court room being sued by his former promotoer

and his manager contracted him to fight ricky without kostya's consent.. fighting in england at that time with a left shoulder that needed surgery

(dont get me wrong all credit to both guys who beat him just adding that into the discussion)

Yeah I have to say that is pretty much the reason why Phillips was able to beat Tzsyu. KT was going to training after court every day in the lead up to that fight. Not really part of the ideal training camp. He didn't even really have a training camp for this fight he was just training at Newtown PCYC here and there.
If Jeff Fenech is a HOFer than KT is a shoe and rightly so.

Kostya Tszyu is probably going to make it into the IBHOF. I'm not sure if he deserves it or not. Fact is, he fought he would fight him, and out of his four best and biggest fights, he won 2 out of 4. Not so bad. Also, he unified the 140 title after a long absense of a junior welterweight champion. He defended well, and helped make the division a hot bed, before everyone moved up. Sometimes, it's not the fighters you beat, it's just how good/great of a fighter you are. He tried his best, from what it seemed, to clean up that division. I wouldn't be mad or pissed if he made it. Either way is cool with me.

he wanted to fight odlh his entire career. he wanted to fight floyd. he would have fought gatti but one was at HBO and the other at showtime.. i think with a few less injuries and a bit more interest kostya could have been a SUPER star

There are a zillion weight classes. Being "the man" at one of them isn't enough in this era.
Well that Rules your obsession out too then as he isn't the man at 140 147 or 154.

100% yes....his career is just as good if not better than Hopkins'..

Tszyu fought about 13 world champions, he is probably the first fighter ever to dominate a division and unify a division the right way: he challenged the other champions and knocked them the Fk out!!!
