Is Kostya Tszyu a Hall of Famer?

Best wins were over Zab Judah and Sharmba Mitchell.

Knockout losses to Vince Phillips and Ricky Hatton.

The better/more dominant fighters during "his era" were JCC , Pernell, Oscar, RJJ, Toney, BHop, MAB, Trinidad, Winky, Mayweather, ...

My personal opinion is that Tszyu, IN HIS PRIME, was a very good fighter. But probably a notch below HoF. One of the criteria that I use for HoF eligibility is that you had to have beaten another HoF-level guy, if possible.

    Thoughts?

He definitely is hall of fame material, the hall of fame is not as exclusive as you would like to think, hell Gatti will probably get in and we all know Tszyu would have wrecked him any time anywhere. He has big wins too, remember he did beat the **** out of Julio Cesar Chavez, late but he did it. Without those injuries Tszyu could have been so much more.

People say that all the time. MOST of the people who say that are not aware of who is actually in the hall.

Who , among the moderns, would you take out of the hall? Who are the worst IBHOF inductees in your opinion?

I say he is in. He was the man at 140 for awhile and everyone has losses (lmao Vince Phillips) however he was, in his prime, a very top rated fighter. 100 bucks says Wiley is jerking it to this thread.

Is genaro hernandez a HoFer? Chicanito was the man at 130 much like Zoo was the man at 140.

There are a zillion weight classes. Being "the man" at one of them isn't enough in this era.

Thats exactly right ,, KT was a good fighter but he never really fought past Judah and he was koed in his prime and never tried to avenge the loss like great fighters all do ,even though Phillips said bring it on and he quit in his last fight ,,, for HOF you got to offer something significant something special , Kostya was just a good honest champ that needed a superfight and he never got it ,,, not HOF I feel .

It's easier to get in now, so yes. I personally dont think DLH would of been HOF in the 70's either. But that's just me.

But 20 years down the road...no I dont think so. And this coming from a hueg fan of KT's.

Tszyu is a shoe-in for HOF at 140. No question. He's considered one of the BEST 140s of modern times. I won't do your homework for you. Does anybody know what years KT was ranked #1 p4p?
