He used to be a lot more fun to watch. Watch his early fights and you will see that he was entertaining and could of been really great, maybe even as big as oscar, but he is no longer willing to lay it all on the line and Oscar did that almost his whole career.

I mean, look at the Oscar and Mosely fights, both those guys were the best boxers in the world at the time and they certainly didn't shy away from each other, and the fights were good, competitive, although no one got KOd.

Or Oscar against Quartay now that was a good fight, both men hit the Canvas. And Oscar was willing to lay it all out there. Floyd acts like he is in the twilight of his career already.

I think his fights will be more exciting but thats not the type of fighter he is. You have to bring that out in him for that to happen. If his opponent is bringing nothing to the table then he feels he just needs to land the shots to win the round. floyd is not gonna waste energy if he doesn't need to. look at the oscar fight. yeah oscar pushed the action a little bit against the ropes but thats it. He never really got an advantage in the middle to make floyd do nothing more than what he did. It was only at the end of the last round that oscar pushed the action in the middle which forced floyd to throw combos back at him. Thats what has to happen if you guys wanna see that explosive action you want. i know he says the fight with hatton will be toe to toe but thats just to promote the fight. He might be a little more aggressive but its not gonna be a war unless hatton pushes it to that level. point blank he can be explosive but you gotta make him do it by bringing the fight to him or just being his punching bag. zab did in their fight cause he brought the fight to floyd. therefore floyd had to readjust and become more aggressive and it made for a better fight. in the gatti fight floyd had no choice but whale on his ass cause he was allowing hisself to get hit with everything but the kitchen sink. i have to wait and see if hatton does what he say he is gonna do. If he does floyd will have no choice but to fight.

Im starting to question the manhood of the diehard Floyd fans. I dont know where u guys are from, but were im from, fighters/boxers gain respect by going all out, and giving it there all. Not by dancing and prancing around, all the while tagging your opponent with one and done pity pat shots all night. At this point, i have more respect for Mayorga than i do for Floyd. At least Mayorga goes for the kill everytime he's in the ring. Cant say the same for Floyd.

Well these fans are used to seeing half-naked men dancing and prancing in some establishments so they definitely like Floyd.
