Well Arturo, I know I landed 45 power shots on you in the first round, but I want things to be fair, so you can have 45 free punches on me.

Listen, being selfish in the ring is a way to save your life and keep a good record.

Listen, giving up your advantages in the ring (like footwork and defense) is ****ing ******, ESPECIALLY if you do it for the fans.

How'd giving up all of his advantages work out for Vernon Forrest against Ricardo Mayorga? Riddle me this genius.
Why can't you take a few risks to make it a great fight? If you're paid $20 Million dollars with the whole world watching you only the worst kind of ingrate would run all night! Fighters have risked far more in $50 K fights, why can't Floyd in a TWENTY-MILLION DOLLAR MEGA FIGHT?

Yes, and since all the MLB fans pay to watch a game... the team with the lead should put the tying run on base in the bottom of the 9th every time. If they don't they are ****ing ingrates, I mean my god, how on god's green earth could they even think of sacrificing excitement for securing a win?

You are dumb. You obviously do not know how competitions work. A competitor should do everything he/she can to win, and look at other factors second.

Nothing dumber than what you just posted has ever been posted in this boards. Imagine comparing a team sport to an individual sport, and taking away the concept of entertainment in a fight game.

I don't have a problem with tha, but i on the other hand do judge fighters outside of the ring as well as inside the ring as do most of the other posters and it doesn't make anyone a ***** or imature.

In all seriousness, I think it KILLS many of you to see a young, flashy, flamboyant, wealthy, bombastic black man doing it his OWN way. The fact that he fights a WINNING fight rather than how YOU want him to fight kills you. The fact that he TELLS Gatti that he is a C+ fighter kills you. But it's true. Or TELLS Oscar that he will gas out in the later rounds kills you. But it's true. Or TELLS Hatton that he is one-dimensional kills you. But it's true.

Anybody with half a brain has to know that Hatton only has a very small chance in this fight. When Mayweather wins a wide UD or the fight is stopped to get Ricky some more hemoglobin...will it REALLY surprise you? REALLY?

But all the white and/or Brit posters will get on and they'll find some reason to whine. Or they will criticize Floyd's method of victory. Or they will claim some pyrrhic victory themselves. I'll wait for that. And chuckle to myself.

You want FMJ to be something that he refuses to be. And you hate that.
PBF was fighting guys like N'Dou and Corley for $3 million. He has made $70 million IN UNDER THREE YEARS. Meanwhile, Margarito fought Williams for one point two mil. Who's the idiot?

You call him a coward, he is a runner, he sucks. There is even a thread on here that asks "how much it must hurt to be p4p and...". Are you kidding me?

How much are you making this year? Are you anywhere near the best in the world at what you do? When's the lasttime you were on three TV shows? What do you drive? Are you and your family set for life? Are you living your dreams?

lol, great post to end it off, Dios.

But seriously, I'm not crying about him throwing around money but it's just the fact that that person is NOT him. Anyone who has followed his pro career knows that in the beginning he was a real humble dude, looking to be a champ and seemed like a nice, quiet kid. I'm just not a fan of frauds, man.

Anyway, bottomline, Floyd gets paid a lot to FIGHT, but he doesnt deliver. If an audience pays you 50 million bucks to fight THE HELL YOU SHOULD FRIGGING FIGHT.

It's like paying a thousand bucks for a stripper who doesn't take her clothes off. Or paying thousands for your daughter's education when her professor ****s her.

Those who complain about Floyd here is actually righteous indignation to his bitchery.

Floyd can still box and be exciting, for the blue print he should watch VS channel and watch Fernando Montiel fight.

These days Floyd is too much on defence, its what happens when you don't fight often or train properly. But i enjoyed the Delahoya v. Mayweather fight but in the minorty that did.

Vs. Hearns, he was being outboxed and had to turn into the hunter ("you're blowing it kid, you're blowing it!!")

vs. Duran 2, and vs. hagler, he was on his bike fro 100% of those fights.

Now, did you see SRL-Duran 2? Or not? Your evasiveness makes me think you didn't.
Well I guess your going to be successfull at diverting the subject but anyway.

Are you saying that Mayweather is comparable to or as good as Leonard?

Leonard was a much much better offensive fighter than Mayweather, much much more power, much much more explosive, he moved alot in some fights, but still would explode with some left hooks and actually powerfull fluries, he would hurt his opponents generally, he wasn't going to hurt Hagler but he still brought some offence to him in spurts. And he showed had grit in several fights notably against Hearns, against Benitez, against Duran when Duran was in proper condition and he lost.

It's just ridiculous. I can't wait to see what's going to be next from you.
