    1. I don't care about post counts or Karma or any of that other **** that a lot of people seem to be obsessive about on here.
I'm not a fan of Cliques.
Or friends patting each other on the back.

2.I think that the Title of the thread is funny.
Taylor didn't even attempt to get up.
Nor did he question the decision.

    This thread is pointless.

Does that make you feel better ?

Taylor was a dead heap. After the fight Smoger commented on the stoppage and said something like "I could have counted to 50 and it would not have made a difference". I don't get it, are some of you sadists out there? JT's legs were tucked under him like a rag doll and he made zero attempt to punch back or get up. Do some of you people want to see deaths in there??

Taylor was done and needed medical attention IMMEDIATELY.

      ****** thread.

Taylor was KTFO.......he was sitting on his bum not even attempting to get up......while I do think refs should always count to 10 indstead of just stopping it....clearly Taylor wasn't getting up.

I completely agree with you. Good to know that are people on this forum that realize the facts and don't let nuthugging cloud their judgment.

I think I may have been misunderstood here. I don't think Taylor would have got back up at all, and I would hate to see anyone get maimed in the ring ok.

I just think that there was no way that the ref could have known how damaged Taylor was because of how quickly he stopped the fight. He had nowhere near enough time to asess the damage done to Taylor, he practically stopped the fight just as Taylor was hitting the canvas.

Good stoppage! Like some others already said on here, the fact that he was kinda hung up in the ropes still taking a beating left smoger no choice but to stop it.

Bro, I understand what you're saying, but Smoger is not blind, he is a championship ref with decades of experience and watching intently he can tell before any of us who has had enough. As we as viewers and fans are watching the fight as FANS, he is watching it as a neutral source and does nothing in there but monitor the punches for damage and to keep the fight organized. He saw the listless, lifeless look in Taylor's eyes as he was taking damage against the ropes and once Taylor slumped over his own legs it's apparant to any logical person (let alone a ref 2 feet away) that the damage has to cease immediately.

Just annoys me, because I see it as a change to protocol thats all.
C'mon man, does a corpse need a count too? Cause that's what Taylor basically was.

Every stoppage is too early in my opinion. I hate it when the ref gets involved. That's why I'm getting quite excited by some illegal bare knuckle fights I saw. No ref.

I might see if I can get a fight. I might be able to fulfil my lifetime ambition of creating a Stephen Hawkins.
