Pacquiao has improved quite a bit since he fought Marquez. He doesn't live and die by the left hand anymore. He goes to the body well now and he is pretty relentless. Uses the right hand and angles now too.

All things being equal in size, I don't think it'd be such a one sided fight.

Thats the way boxing is nowadays. Fighters say they want to be champion but don't jump at the opportunity to do so. I give McCline credit for stepping up though.

I do, but thats only because i have yet to see someone against pacman who...actually has a shot at beating him to be honest. I mean, your right hes not as one demensional as he was, but until i see pacman against someone who is actually on his level (Guzman/Soto) i reserve judgement. In all honesty, im waiting for him to fight Guzman, hes a poor mans mayweather at 130, now if he beat the **** out of guzman, i would definately change my opinion.

I know pacman has fought top competition, and his KO of barrera has been impressive, however since his trilogy against morales and the JMM fight, who against pacman has actually had a legit shot at beating him and was viewed as a favorite or a live underdog? I wait for those things before i sing his praises about his improvement as far as being able to compete with someone like mayweather in a dream matchup.

But if you know me, i usually favor the slick boxer like a JMM or a Mayweather stylewise, but im objective.

Thats why I am HIGHLY critical of a lot of Boxers and their resumes.
Not because I am ignorant or disrespect fighters.
Not because i am unintelligent like a certain poster thinks on here.
I think as a paying Fan I deserve better quality.
Boxing has become the only Sport where the best participants rarely face each other.
I'm sad and angry at this more than anything.
I must admit though that at the moment Boxing has started to pull its finger out.
We are getting spoiled rotten by recent standards.
We have had Kelly V Pavlik.
We've got Mayweather V Hatton , Cotto V Mosley , Calzaghe V Kessler , Haye V Mormeck , Barrera V Pacman all within a few months of each other.
Why can't it be like this all the time?

I would disagree, and would say that its mostly just people who dont like Floyd Mayweather who think p4p is a "what have you done for me lately" rating system.

I wish would be like this also. I blame it on promoters and sanctioning bodies. Theres too much politics involved in boxing now and too many championships. I think they should go back to having just one undisputed champion.
