If he's off his game he can be in real trouble. He's not a ****er that can always KO the guy with one shot or come back if he falls behind on the cards. He has to be on his game from the first round to the last. Dancing with the stars does not help him dance with Hatton.
The advantage for Floyd is that he is fighting a guy who is slower, smaller, less talented, less durable, less of a puncher, less versatile, and less experienced than Oscar. He doesn't have to be ultra-sharp to face a B or B minus fighter.

Oscar is a better fighter in 2007 than Hatton, and anybody Hatton has ever fought.

Boxing is a sport where "anything" can happen. The reality is that "anything" seldom does. The favourite that the experts choose usually wins.
didn't jemaine taylor, the favourite who these so called "experts" picked got KTFO a couple of days ago?

oscar wasn't pushed by mayweather. that's why oscar wasn't exposed to being out of shape. 3 rounds is 25% of the fight. the last 3 rounds oscar was tired. all 12 rounds mayweather was boxing, it bored me. ricky can put up a better performance against mayweather for sure. he's younger, more active, hungry, and seems to be dealing with floyld's antics just fine. oscar was outfought at press releases. he expected floyld to keep to his word and make it toe to toe.

so was the may 2007 oscar good as he has been? no way. can hatton give a better performance than oscar did? yes i think so.

You're right, Dios. You cannot rewrite history, even by posting clips of select rounds. You're trying to tell us that Mayweather went toe to toe with Baldomir. We saw the fight too. Select clippage will not change history. Floyd ran from Baldo.

anyone seen the contender? does dios work for them with the editing of fights? all we need now is the freddy kruger sound effects when someone gets hit by mayweather.

Why do you guys call it running? That seems like a really disrespectful term to use for someone who is boxing. He's stepping inside a ring and putting his health and safety on the line in fighting another man. His style is to pop, dance, move and pop again. If you don't like that, fine, but why demean the man- who boxes- by saying he's a runner?

I will give it to you that Floyd was backing off and pot shotting Baldomir so much you had to wonder if he really cared how people were viewing him, but beside that fight I don't think his style is that bad...

Well, you have to ask yourself what a SMART fighter does when he is in against a bigger or stronger man. Or a man who favours infighting.

                      I saw Duran -SRL 2. I also saw SRL-hagler.

In SRL-Hagler, MMH was actually saying "fight me, you *****" and SRL stayed on his bike while shaking his head "no".

Versatile fighters can choose when to brawl, or when to box. But if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
