Am I the only one that thinks Kelly would KO Winky?

Winky is just too small and he does'nt have legs anymore.

He'd get brutalized in the corner. Kelly would walk him down n/p. Winky's soft punches would also be completely ineffective.

I think everybody underestimates Winky a bit. Part of him not having his legs last fight was the added weight and Wink was out jabbing Hopkins who around Pavlik's height. If this fight happened I'd take Winky UD. Sure he could'nt hurt Kelly but I just can't see Pavlik landing a clean right the was he did to taylor or timing everything as good as he did against Taylor. It's alot easier to time out your shots and land clean against somebody with a bad defense.

I think age would catch up with Winky in a fight against Pavlik. No doubt he would hang tough, but I see late round KD's leading to a possible TKO/KO.

I think it would be a very interesting matchup. A good defensive fighter in his prime against a good offensive fighter. Winky Wright is on a whole different level when it comes to Jermain Taylor. Taylor skills pales in comparison to Wright's. Pavlik is basically a one-two fighter. He hardly ever goes to the body. This would play right into Winky's strengths. A good defense would shut out a good offense. If I was handling Pavlik's career, I wouldn't want to feed him to the wolves just yet. Pavlik would be biting off a lot more than he can chew at this point of his career against the likes of a Winky Wright.

Energy, it's very plausible that Kelly could KO Winky. Winky is getting up there in age and is out of his prime. His legs aren't what they used to as evidenced in the Hopkins fight and a young fighter like Pavlik would exploit this. Pavlik has the punching arsenal (hooks, jab and most importantly the uppercut) to break Winky's guard with pure aggression.

Pavlik would have NOTHING TO FEAR from Winky at all and would ravage him. A Winky from 2000 UD's Pavlik, but Winky today gets iced.

In all due respect, part of Winky's legs failing him in the Hopkins fight, was largely due to the fact that Hopkins was making it a very physical fight; A lot grappling and clinching. Hopkins was able to get away with doing a lot of roughhouse tactics, including intentionally head-butting in the bout, that appeared to have thrown Winky off his game and allowed Bernard to get inside his head.
