If Jermain got through Winky's guard with hard straight punches, surely Pavlik can do the same right? Thats what I think anyway.

Don't take those numbers seriously, Pavlik is almost 6'3 he's 6'2 and 1/2 actually and Winky is not even 5'11. Pavlik would outjab Winky with ease, followed by occasional nasty right hand.. This is a bad style/matchup for Winky.

You simply can't use that cover up technique with Kelly, he will punish you, and there's a limit to everyone. Pavlik's chin and power would KO Winky. Agree?

Jermain hurt Pavlik really bad, knocked his ass down and almost out. Jermain couldn't even wobble Winky's knees. And that SAME overhand right that put Kelly Pavlik 4/5 of the way down ***** Street landed MANY times on Winky's face and couldn't drop him.

Winky is a tough ****er, and that shield wall is still the best defense in boxing. I don't think he would allow Pavlik to knock him out. His only problem with Kelly is that, unlike Jermain, he can't back Pavlik up under ANY circumstance. That could pose a problem.

I'd like to see how Pavlik fights against an Elite boxer like Winky though. Would make an awesome fight, and I hope I get to see it.

I think to beat Pavlik you need to have really good overall speed, upperbody, with the feet hands, and you need pop. Your gonna need a pair of balls to sound off with as well.
