I really don't care if jackoffs don't give Taylor credit for the Pavlik fight.
He'd knock Pavlik out in a rematch anyways, he's still the better fighter.
Not to mention Floyd is going to kick Hatton's ass all over town.

Forget the nonsense of Belts and paper titles.
Forgetg CaSTILLO as well I am talking 140 and up.
Which top fighters has he beaten in their prime at 140 , 147 and 154 ?
Here is what you can't simultaneously do:
You can't simultaneously denigrate Floyd's opposition while saying that hatton is a very good fighter because of his record.
No objective person with a modicum of boxing knowledge would dispute that Mayweather has the better resume.
So, you make yourself into a two-faced hypocrite when you criticize FMJ's resume and then say that Hatton is a very good fighter.
Corrales+Castillo+castillo+Genaro+ Judah+Chavez+ Manfredy+Delahoya+Corley+Judah+baldomir+famoso+goy o is greater than the resumes of BOTH Hatton and calzaghe combined.
True Story.

These are the ages of the fighters at the time they met Mayweather.
Clealry past their best.
The only fighter he has fought in his prime was Zab Judah.
Thank you in advance.

Why do I need to lower my standards?
Jesus christ that is some statement right there.
Anyone who is a fan of Boxing knows that it has been suffering in recent years.
Politics are ****ing fights up more than anything and the age old problem of greed and Money.
Back through history each division was contested hotly and always with the best facing each other.
Gradually over time this has become rarer and rarer.
We used to see fighters fighting up to 20 times in the same year!
Now we are lucky if its 3 times a year.
True Champions and real legends throughout History have taken on allcomers.
Hagler , Hearns , Ray Leonard , Ali , Lennox Lewis , Evander Holyfield, Sugar Ray robinson , Mike Tyson , Joe Louis , Jack Dempsey , etc etc etc etc etc.
I find it incredible when I hear statements like "The new champ deserves an easy fight next time out" .........
What the **** for?
If you the champ you fight the best IMO.
I don't want to get into a UFC VS BOXING argument here but a big reason why MMA is growing in popularity is because the best fighters face the best fighters on a regular basis.
That is a fantastic formula for improving your fanbase.
Give the fans what they want to see.
The top Fighters fighting the top contenders on a regular basis.
Boxing is on a high right now with some fantastic match ups like Taylor Pavlik , Hatton Mayweather , Cotto Mosley , Calzaghe V Kessler.
Already Pavlik & Taylor have produced the goods and the others have potential to be great fights as well.
The other thing that irks me is when a Contender like Miranda who is a young kid loses his "0" and is then written off.
The fact is he would give problems to any MW SMW.
But we hear bull**** like "He aint on my level" blah blah blah.
Most great fighters in history have suffered losses.
I don't understand the obsession with the "0".
Maybe I do have high standards but that is my right and I will stick by them.
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE!!!

The only reason I think you should lower your standards is because you seem unwillingly to give anyone any credit in the sport. Floyd fights ****ty opponents. Bernard fought ****ty opponents. I can only imagine what you think of Roy Jones Jr.'s resume.
All prospects are unproven, but by the time they do get proven, then they are old.
I just think you are the ultimate cynic in the sport.

When did I say Hatton was a very good fighter?
I openly criticise Hatton often and got banned from his official website for doing so.
My crime was to ask why he was ffighting the likes of Carlos Maussa by the way.
