    FightNight 2007 = sour g****s.

He "says" he picked Pavlik, but there are not posts by him to that effect -- before the fight which is how you know someone is making a confident pick.

Obviously you picked JT and your guy got beat. No posts about your Pavlik pick until AFTER the fight. now you are whining about scorecards.

How much did you lose ? Hope you didn't bet based on your boxing knowledge. cause it seems like you aren't grasping anything but sour g****s.

Some people should just stick to MTV and wrestling.

And hey, last time I heard they don't let minors to betting...

This guy is a clown. He lost money on JT, and now he's trying to act like he picked Pavlik to bolster his words.

Sorry.. not working. Go ahead.. check my posts "BEFORE" the fight. Then you can go ahead and tell me how what I predicted didn't go down. Call me a noob... proof's in the pudding.

I haven't posted on this site alot for the past month.

On Boxden I voted for Pavlik, not here though since I haven't been here that much.

Pavlik undoubtedly won the 3rd round, so youre automatically wrong.

he also most certainly won the 7th, which is really all that matters...

I had Taylor up, but compubox 1.should mean nothing when you score a fight and 2. only had Taylor landing a very few amount of punches anyway...like what...3? 3 doesnt matter in a slugfest like this.

What you are saying is like this.. We had control of the ball more often.. and Took way more shots on goal.. SO ****ING WHAT.. what counts is the final score..and the Final score was Pavlik 1 Taylor 0...

That is all That history will remember

So you can STFU now ok???

                    yeah... yeah.. you go check.

Kind of obvious you bet on JT. These are sour g****s. I've seen them many times, and you want to feel like you were somewhat right.

Pavlik was "lucky" right ? that's your take. Just be honest.

The people that post before the fight don't have to make things up to make a point about their pick and try to bully others by calling them noobs.

I should really write a guide on how to watch boxing. Some people are clueless. This is not subjective stuff. Taylor won rounds 2 and 5. Round 4 was close, but rounds 1, 3, and 6 were DECISIVELY Pavlik rounds.

Pavlik was snapping Taylors head back with his jabs, he was making Taylor fight at HIS pace, even Taylor admitted to this fact in the post fight interview.

                      So lets break this down.

                      Pavlik:
                      -Controlled the pace
                      -Took away Taylors jab
                      -Asserted his own jab
                      -Was effectively aggressive
                      -Controlled the ring

                      Taylor:
                      -Couldn't utilize his jab
                      -Couldn't control the pace
                      -Couldn't control the ring

It doesn't matter how many punches Taylor landed, because they were NOT EFFECTIVE.
-His punches didn't stop Pavlik from controlling the pace
-His punches didn't stop Pavlik from returning fire
-His punches didn't stop Pavlik from applying effective aggression

Pavlik's punches, on the other hand, WERE EFFECTIVE.
-His punches stopped Taylor from controlling the pace
-His punches stopped Taylor from returning fire
-His punches stopped Taylor from controlling the ring
-His punches stopped Taylor from utilizing the jab

                      Now how did Taylor win?

In round 5, and to a lesser extent, round 4, he effectively stifled Pavlik's aggression by utilizing head movement and foot work.

                      Thats it.
