Damn, for a boxing forum some of you people don't know much about boxing.

No referee, standing a few feet away would have stopped that fight. When Taylor first hurt Pavlik he was more stunned, then Taylor missed a bunch of shots, then Pavlik appeared to try to taunt Taylor who then landed a few decent shots and put Pavlik down, Kelly was blocking punches and got up from the knockdown immediately.

After that Taylor got too wild, let Kelly off, and blew his load...

The difference is, when Taylor was hurt the ropes were holding him up, if the ref hadn't stepped in Pavlik would have continued to hit Taylor who was out on his feet and had not responded to at least three very hard, very clean punches...

wtf?? Where do you see him say Pavlik won because of the referee? Yeah he beat the count, but did you see the way he was being pounded after he got up? He almost fell down again a second time and legs were wobbly as hell. Props to Pavlik for staying up to end the round. Watch the fight again. Some overzealous referee could have stopped it then, is all he was saying.
