I agree, Jay Nady would have stopped it. Smoger lets the issue get resolved.

I thought it was Steve Smoger, but I know what you mean. Your right he handled this fight great. Some might have stopped the fight when Pavlik was hurt, but he let him work his way through it. Then the stoppage at the end with Taylor I felt was good. He was out and only would have recieved un wanted punishment.

Smoger stopped it perfectly as soon as Taylor was out and no extra punches landed.

i aggree on this one, any other ref stops this fight, i didn't see the ending but im glad to see a ref allow the fight to play out and give the fighter hurt every chance to fight back and stay in the fight.

If I were a Taylor fan, I'd be bitter as hell that Smoger was the ref. No other ref would have let that go on. And it was the right decision. Reason why Smoger is among the best...

Only thing I disagree with is why not give Taylor a little bit of a count? Maybe see how his eyes look? I would have been happier to at least see Taylor get up and then stop it if he was shaky.

You get a ten count. Kelly easily beat it.

This is more ridiculous than when Tyson lost the title and and sued for Douglas getting a long count, way ****ing worse seing as Kelly easily beat the count and was able to continue, by any ref's standard.

I ****ing knew it, in a great fight like this, ****ing bottom feeders will find a way to denegrate it.
