This is more ridiculous than when Tyson lost the title and and sued for Douglas getting a long count, way ****ing worse seing as Kelly easily beat the count and was able to continue, by any ref's standard.

I ****ing knew it, in a great fight like this, ****ing bottom feeders will find a way to denegrate it.

well, among active refs, hehe... if it was nady, it was done by round 2... every ref should follow the lead of smoger and let the boxers fight...

No question. Nady would have ruined it. Smoger was perfect, even the call at the end. It was a brutal beat down in that corner. Taylor was obviously done.

Only thing I disagree with is why not give Taylor a little bit of a count? Maybe see how his eyes look? I would have been happier to at least see Taylor get up and then stop it if he was shaky.

The fact that in boxing you get 10 seconds to rise from the canvas in a cogniscent state?

It's one of the things that defines a great fight a guy coming off the canvas against the champion to win the bout and you have to find some way to denegrate it, ****ing bottom feeder.

It was the right decision, I've made that clear. And I'm happy Pavlik won. People were doubting him, and calling him overhyped for no reason I thought.

Out of all of the refs in boxing, Smoger is the best at giving a guy a chance to stay up. 7/10 refs would have stopped the fight when Pavlik was on his feet though.

yeah Jay Nady stops every fight early because he made a good stoppage in the judah tzyu fight.

Other than that I can't think of a single outstanding premature stoppage in regards to him.

I thought it was Steve Smoger, but I know what you mean. Your right he handled this fight great. Some might have stopped the fight when Pavlik was hurt, but he let him work his way through it. Then the stoppage at the end with Taylor I felt was good. He was out and only would have recieved un wanted punishment.
