A rematch would make sense he was winning on all the cards, even though I didn't see it that way, but you guys are right it was an exciting enough of a fight for there to be a rematch.

Not even. The beating Meldrick took from Chavez was twice as bad (at least) than this one.

Taylor needs to take on Pavlik his very next fight. He almost won this time, and the rematch has to happen at above 160. This will help Jermain mentally and physically.

i don't think the rematch would have a different result than this fight did. taylor should move up to 168 and forget about pavlik, or retire

eh .. so making 160 for fights with Kassim Ouma and Cory Spinks are no problem for Jermain Taylor

but when he's up against Kelly Pavlik ... making 160 is a problem. rematch clause at 168

I'd say that's stretching it a bit though man.

He made Pavlik look like a rag doll in the second round.............and I had him ahead of the scores at the time of the stoppage en route to decision.

That was an exciting fight. And that would be like saying Castillo was done for after being stopped by Corrales.........only to rematch and knock him out with 1 single punch. The rubber match is a pickem fight IMO.
