I was going for Pavlik but he was actually very lucky, Taylor was boxing him very well and knocked him down and had him hurt for the rest of the second round very lucky the ref didnt stop the fight at that point
I thought taylor let Pavlik off the hook and payed quite badly for it, but cong**** to Pavlik i really dont see him holding that belt for too long though, especially if he fights a fast fighter with some power, he doesnt seem to punch back and becomes quite confused when he gets rushed with 5 punch combos.Last edited by skyler; 09-29-2007, 11:15 PM.Comment

starjammer explain? he caught pavik with a good shot. what I was was pavlik taking it to taylor the whole fight, jabbing, backing him up and outboxing him. blocking most of taylor shots. and its a JOKE when merchant says the judges had taylor winning boxing obviously wants this man to be the face of the sport.Comment

compare fighting styles ... Hopkins was more defensive .. Ouma was too small .... Winky too defensive
Kelly brought it to JT ... he fights that way every fight
so what if he hasn't fought elite level comp .. Taylor won the middleweight title on Hopkins low punch out put.Comment

Taylor was not exposed - he fought a great fight, but just failed to close the deal when it was his for the closing. Great fight. Time for Taylor to get a new trainer - Manny's just not the right guy for him.Comment
