yeah he had 40 fights compared to walker smith's 200, but he beat the best lightweight of all time in duran ,the third best welterweight of all time tommy hearns[to me], and the best middleweight of all time in marvelous marvin hagler [to me].they are all better than anybody ray robinson beat.i like ray robinson but i believe ray beat the better competition.

That's very true. Sugar Ray Leonard had accomplished so much in such a short period of time. Walker Smith baby! After losing his first fight to jake LaMotta he fought another 10 rounder and then beat LaMotta all within the same month! Say what you want about Robinson's competition, I still think p4p he was better than anyone Leonard ever beat and Leonard himself. Robinson's rigurous fight schedule and success rate is unmatched by any fighter from the 80's, 90's or today by far.
