started off at 135. Ever seen his bouts with De Jesus? And If I remember correctly he skipped 140 to go to 147 and fight Leonard. I could be wrong but I dont think so. That is unprecedented, really.

I also had thought that Duran turned pro at LW. Then I went to boxrec to verify and noticed that he RARELY made the LW limit early in his career. That indicates to me that he was a substantially bigger guy than PBF.

But we agree that by 31, his best days were behind him, and that was the key point.

in regards to being past his prime .. generally speaking the smaller fighters do get that wear and tear on their bodies
(hell look at all the old heavyweights out their.)

but if your gonna compare who is more past their prime (again the being past prime is slightly .. nothing drastic here like going from being elite to a journeyman)
