Because Floyd wanted to establish himself as a PPV star by beating Gatti... plus I remember him calling out Tszyu after the N'dou fight.

Can you tell I watch the N'dou fight a lot considering I use it in pretty much every example that I bring up?

Because they can make lots of money fighting soft competition. Why take a fight you might really lose, when you can make money fighting Arturo Gatti?

After his loss to Phillips the DLH fight was off and Tszyu had along lay off. Mosley called Tsyzu out after the Zab fight, but he wouldn't move up and fight Mosley like he said he would.

Tsyzu was mostly inactive when Floyd was in his division.

I think all these fighters would have given Tszyu big problems.

You didn't even list one of his most impressive win over Miguel Gonzalez.

Furthermore, Tszyu never planned to move up. He always said he would fight anybody in the LWW division.
Kostya said he was going to move up after he won all the belts at Super Lightweight. It was printed in an Australian news paper. After he beat Zab, Mosley offered him a fight, but Kostya never took up the offer.

Becoming a PPV star was important to Mayweather I guess... remember, just because you are good doesn't mean that you are always adequately rewarded for it. Hopkins was never a PPV star.

Anyways, the difference is that Mayweather-Tszyu would have been PPV instead of HBO WCB, which sucks for us, but is monetarily sweet for the fighters.

Yeah, they call people out all the time, but somehow the deal can never get quite done. This was typical of Tszyu's career. Hats off to Judah, Oktay, and Ruelas, at least they had the balls to try the king.

What happened to that alleged "lay off" you cited? You were wrong about that. And the rest is just sour g****s. Tszyu always said he would fight anybody out there in LWW. So why didn't they go to LWW to try him out? They would get their asses kicked that's why.

we all know youre just trying to make hatton's win over him bigger.......Tszyu was a solid very good long time champion, a great win for hatton....but Tszyu didn exactly fought great competition...passed on both big fights he couldve had(DLH&Mosley)

Even Hatton said it himself that his style is not suit for long career in boxing. Why not take the risk of fighting an elite in boxing so you can earn big money? You dont know how long you can stay in boxing so why not take the risk right?

I'm not saying anything about Hatton. And your wrong saying Tszyu passed on DLH and Mosely. When it came right down to it, they didn't want him at 140.
