Tszyu - Mayweather

No....my friend. That was not evidence. That was an accusation. An accusation that Tszyu "lied" in his statements to the press. The fact that Tszyu eventually signed to fight Hatton (even if there were negotiations) has nothing to do with the fact that he was holding himself open for a fight with Floyd. A fight of which had been laid on the doorstep with offers; A fight of which Tszyu indicated his willingness to take the offer; and nothing.....I repeat, NOTHING, was ever heard from Floyd Mayweather, Jr. THERE'S your evidence. Now swallow it and choke on it.Comment

Not accusation it was leaked news. LEAKED NEWS. The news was that a fight between the two was AGREED UPON. Tszyu being open for a fight and NOT TAKING IT should say more about him than it does about Floyd. He had his choice, Hatton, Floyd or Gatti and he chose Hatton. HE chose Hatton.No....my friend. WRONG. That's exactly what the article was about. He wanted Floyd, but Floyd never muttered a friggin word. So what happens? Tszyu signs for Hatton and the rest is history. Mayweather never had any intention of fighting Tszyu at the time. Mayweather even spoke of it in the article that Dios presented, if you'll remember Floyd SAID he wanted Gatti first, then he'd get around to Tszyu. Yeah right....like Floyd would have ever gotten around to Tszyu. Well maybe a 40 year old Tszyu. Maybe. Not accusation it was leaked news. LEAKED NEWS. Now who is being stubborn, skils? This is what happened. The evidence has been presented to prove it from both Tszyu's and Floyd's own mouths!!Comment

The article showed Tszyu agreed to fight Hatton AT THE LATEST 2 weeks AFTER his fight with Sharmba. My goodness we go in circles when you are CONSTANTLY WRONG. You say Floyd didn't do this Floyd didn't do that Tszyu is the champion show me where he muttered anything more than Floyd did. The ****er said he was open but CHOSE Hatton over the other 2 combatants and THAT'S A FACT. Damn you get told the facts over and over and just can't admit you are wrong. For an old man you sure act like a 2 year old, act your age but don't break a hip while you do it.WRONG. That's exactly what the article was about. mayweather wins this especially at 140 where mayweather, as far as his speed and power was in his prime imo. floyd is by far faster than kosta and of course, he was the much smarter fighter and would have gave kosta so many angles that would have been too much for kosta. don't talk abotu kosta's right hand like it was the greatest right hand ever, because with as vicious as it was, against floyd, he would rarely land it. floyd on the other hand would land vicious left hooks on kosta because floyd's timing with it was just impecable, especially at 140 because of his speed.
all of this bull**** rhetoric about kosta outboxing floyd, i spit in the faces of all who claimed this, because there's no chance in hell kosta would have outboxed floyd, especially at 140, are you people that damn blind to see this. at 140, floyd would have demolished the **** out of kosta, and this is the truth. floyd utilized the ring so well at this weight, and kosta had problems with guys who gave him angles., so against floyd he was in for a beating of his life. he thought hatton punished him, hatton wanted no part of floyd at 140, what makes you people think kosta did.
you guys believe any fighter can beat floyd, no matter who it is, this is blind hatred, and with all the insults i read on this forum from floyd detractors, i rarely read a decent post to argue against. hell, i have a better chance at insulting floyd and floyd fans myself, and arguing against myself for making those insults than floyd haters actually making decent posts, like aztec, easton assassin, and welter skelter to name only a few.
you guys make me sick with your posts, they hold no real importance imo and they take away from the integrity to make a decent argument. i mean, calling people fanboys and nuthuggers is one thing when you can back up your insults with actual decent points, but i've read nothing but silly comments that mean nothing.
kosta was a great fighter, and styles do make fights, but kosta would have been dominated by floyd at 140 because floyd was just too good, that's all. i mean, floyd's left hook alone was a great punch, so what makes you think kosta would have punished floyd. name one thing kosta did that would have been too much for floyd. he had a nice right hand, this i know, and he had great patience which is his strongest attribute imo, but floyd was just too elusive, poised, accurate, and smart, and methodical for hatton. not to mention, floyd's defense as far as his blocking goes was much better than kosta's. floyd upperbody movement at this weight was the best in boxing. he would have countered the **** out of kosta on the ropes just as much as he would have in the middle of the ring. i never saw or still don't see kosta beating floyd. kosta was good at doing what he did against guys who left themselves open, but against floyd, kosta would have been overwhelmed with floyd's fluent movement and speed, an dof course, once again, his mindset. he would have gotten hit from all angles.
see, the great thing about floyd's skills is that they work at different angles. floyd could combo from a left or right faint and he could counter with a right hand or a left hook just as much. his body punching was pinpoint and his punches had a lot of pop to them. kosta was a great puncher, but floyd was an all around better puncher. he didn't punch harder than kosta did, but he put his punches together from many different angles much better than kosta. zoo would have been in for a long night against floyd.
floyd wins by tko late or wide ud.Comment

the british media did not accuse zoo of anything. they simply stated on 12.1.04 that a verbal agreement had been met for zoo to fight hatton for 5 million pounds. that info was leaked 2 weeks after the mitchell fight 11.19.04. the article you posted dated 12.14.04 clearly shows zoo and his promotoer acting like zoo was interested in floyd and gatti all the while the fight had already been made to fight hatton by 12.1.04. I suspect zoo had agreed to fight hatton if he had beaten mitchell. the agreement leaked by the press was deadon what zoo had received to figfht hatton.No....my friend. That was not evidence. That was an accusation.
he did lie, who did zoo wind up fighting. were there any leaked press clippings about zoo fighting floyd. if so what was the dollar amount. An accusation that Tszyu "lied" in his statements to the press.
we know the press had 5 million pounds as the total zoo was to receive..why wasn't there any press clippings for zoo in negotiations with floyds camp.
how can you be open for a fight with another fighter and the press already has the amount you are going to make for your next fightThe fact that Tszyu eventually signed to fight Hatton (even if there were negotiations) has nothing to do with the fact that he was holding himself open for a fight with Floyd.
once again find an article that shows ANY SERIOUS NEGOTIATIONS BETWEEN ZOO AND FLOYD OR ZOO AND GATTI. there was nothing floyd could have done to fight zoo in june of 05 becasue by dec1st04 zoo had already made up his mind to fight hatton...hence the lying in the press about not fighting hatton and wanting more accomplished fighters. why did zoo go for the easy payday, he could have made 10 million fighting gatti but chose hatton instead.A fight of which had been laid on the doorstep with offers; A fight of which Tszyu indicated his willingness to take the offer; and nothing.....I repeat, NOTHING, was ever heard from Floyd Mayweather, Jr. THERE'S your evidence. In hindsight, they should have fought anyone besides Mayweather... I can't imagine a more one-sided fight.
Maybe Calzaghe-Lacy, Wright-Trinidad or De La Hoya-Mayorga.Comment
