Well thats why this is boxing, a martial art and not a drunken slugfest to see who can knock the other guy down with brute force. That's why the fighters wear gloves man. Floyd Mayweather is the P4P #1, and I haven't seen him knock too many guys out by standing in front of them and swinging wildly. And that's also why they even have a point system, otherwise they'd just look at their faces and determine the winner. It's about boxing, if boxing equals bicycle to you then that's a different thing, but boxing has always been about strategy and dexterity meeting physical ability.

I agree that boxing involves strategy, and bicycling being one form, is a legit form. Ill even credit Barrera for that if he ever succeeds in doing that. What Im trying to say is that, if he ever does that, it will say a lot for his machismo as well as the other Mexcian fighters.

one thing about bareera is his syle allows him to exchange agressively because hes always in posion to do everything..he needs to come out easy and not make pac get agressive at first.. ease himself into the fight .. and counter let pac feel his power early just enought to keep him of so he can work his jab... when u try n **** pac out he goes crazy and relentless and is hell to setle down.... he needs to box and counter when pac wants to fight .. pac also goes into a shell at times he cant fight going backward at all that when barerra needs to attack like an animal pac only does it a few times a fight and he needs to take adavantage of it as soon as pac just thinks **** it and attack he needs to pop that jab out there over and over and slip inside the left and hug and throw the right hand at the same time and sometimes follow with the hook to the head or body and immediately back up and jab jab jab..

I don't get it though, what does Machismo matter in all this? Isnt the point to win the fight? Look at Floyd, talks the most **** and he wins the fights. Pac is way different than Floyd, Pac is an offense machine and Floyd is just the perfect boxer. What would it say for Mexican fighters if Barrera outboxes Pacquiao? I can already hear all the ***** ass moaning and complaining that people are gonna do if this happens. "why didnt he stand there and trade with Pac?" they're gonna say. I mean boxing is very different than enjoying violence and people getting knocked uncoscious, that's what I'm trying to put across. And just because someone is Mexican doesn't mean they're attracted to brutal violence, Mexican machismo or whatever you wanna call it is bull****. It's about hard work and preparation and not just talking out of your ass and standing toe to toe trading life-threatening blows with someone. Pacquiao is mostly an offensive fighter, that's what I think he was referring to. Have you not seen the way Barrera handles fighters that mostly come forward? If Freddy Roach doesn't anticipate some hard counters and a lot of lead left hooks then Pacquiao may be in for a long night. What I hate about the whole thing is that when MAB gives Manny a boxing lesson, many Filipinos are gonna come out saying that MAB is a ***** for not fighting him straight up, and for "running".
