Whose More Exciting To Watch Pacquiao Or Mayweather

Well, I don't think these two could ever meet because of the weight. Pac started at 108, I believe. [they could in theory meet, but not at a weight where either boxer could perform effectively...ie a slow Pacquiao or an emaciated Floyd]. My post was hypothetical where both could fight at a weight that was appropriate for each respected boxer.Last edited by Wiley Hyena; 09-25-2007, 11:43 PM.Comment

Mayweather is fire when he's fightin lesser quality guys like Paq is doin. What happen when both of them got into some real fights? Paq got owned by Morales, and Marquez, cause lets face it...Morales and Marquez arent a bunch of Flip bums that Paq built his record on.
But yeah, Mayweather vs N'dou, Mitchell, Zab, Gatti lol, those were a few of his explosive performances. So when they both fight lesser quality guys, they're both fire. But that goes for any elite fighter.Comment

Well, I'm pretty sure Barrera had a sizable reach advantage, and look what Pac did to him. Pac's overall speed is great. He's just as fast, or I dare say..faster.. than Floyd. And, Pac has great power.
But, my post was a hypothetical. There's no reasonable weight IMO that both could make that would be fair to either of them. Floyd is too big.Comment

lol Why do have to be either of those two? lol Why can't I just be "right."
I mean Paq spent his career fightin flip bum's. Comes to the U.S. and faces the best battle tested fighters, who happen to be at the end of their careers. It's not that surprising that he still has plenty of Miles in his tank. I mean the dude arrived at the perfect time.
But once Barrera's finally out of the picture and retires, thats the last of the finished fighters Paq can build his name on. After that, he has to fight some real guys who have just as much as he has left. Thats when it's gonna get interesting, I mean isnt Paq's only KO loss was when he gently hit his head on the canvas when he fell lol? Somthin tells me, if he ever faces a power puncher, he's goin to sleep.Comment
