And that's supposed to be "going at great lengths to diminish Hatton's record"? So by the post I get labeled as a "Mayweatherite"? If saying that makes me one then you're pretty ******. What I said is a FACT & if you want make a poll asking the question you'd get a similar response. JLC WAS NOT the same fighter he was back in 02'.

I think you guys are taking this "Dancing With the Stars" gig WAY too seriously. If this was the middle of November, I could understand. but it's not. It's the middle of September. The fight is Dec 8th. Floyd walks around at his fighting weight and he trains EVERYDAY!!! He doesn't need 3 months to train for anyone! "Dancing" through Sept. & Oct will do NOTHING as far as taking focus away from Floyd. If he WINS "Dancing", it could last longer than he anticipates. But let's keep it real; in all likelyhood, Floyd's tenure with "Dancing" will probably end sometime in mid to late Oct., giving him plenty of time to "focus" on ripping Hatton's head off.

Fine. No problem. I just don't agree with those that run Hatton's victory over Castillo down. The difference in Castillo was not that relevant to me, because of his style of fighting. The issue is whether Castillo layed down to Hatton. I do not believe he did. IMO.

In no way an I diminishing ANY of Hatton's victories. In fact I even said in another thread that if he beats Mayweather he deserves all the credit in the world. No excuses for neither. And there's no way in hell that JLC would lay down for anyone. He took a helluva body shot that crippled him for a few minutes.

Dear me. Have you seen Floyd sparring Spadafora? He looks horrible. Now it would be completely unfair to suggest that Floyd is bad because he looked horrible in sparring, after all this was an untrained Floyd in the ring with a fight-ready guy. Now think to yourself: Floyd doesn't do any training for a title fight and even he is going to get beaten.

What is Floyd's best asset? His speed? His reflexes? His skills? No it's his work ethic. He trains really hard for his fights and he has incredible conditioning. That's his number one factor, he trains for every single fight. Take that away and you have a very skilled and very fast guy who burns out in four rounds. That's right. You have Zab Judah.

I think the mistake that hatton is making is that he is banking on a strength advantage that just isn't there. Floyd isn't a big man....but he ain't Cory Spinks. PBF is a strong kid. Especially after training with Kofi Jantuah and Daniel Edouard for Carlos Baldomir and Oscar Delahoya. You don't go hundreds of rounds with big guys just on speed. You get much stronger, too.
                    COMPLETE and UTTER speculation.

Hatton has NEVER made that statement. NEVER.
