The check hook solved Hatton's pressure quite effectively, dont you think?

Not in the chapter about pressure fighting though, because that isn't Cotto's game, at all, when he faces really quality opponents. He is a boxer-puncher who likes to go to the body.

Even so, Cotto would be a hell of a lot bigger than Hatton won.

I don't think the size issue means anything in Mayweather vs. Hatton, because Mayweather was small as hell too. But it is 100% true that Cotto would be a ****ing giant compared to both Mayweather and Hatton at 147.

                What is your opinion?
I've always felt that he was allowed to ride the wave of the Tzu win for too long. Collazo gave him a reality check and to ensure the crowd still believed Hatton was a top 10 contender, they put him in with a past his prime warrior in Castillo. He's a good fighter, but far from great. I dont think he will get past Malignaggi.

funny thing about that is that Mayweather is an inch taller than Cotto. But obviously, Cotto has more mass than both Hatton and Mayweather. the reason i LOVE the Cotto/Mayweather match up because for me, its always awesome to watch 2 fighters who are closely physically similar fight. you can have 2 dudes who are about the same size and weight fight and you can truly see the contrast in skill and ability. Thats why i love watching Judah/Mayweather so much.

Isn't that what he tried? Anyway, to me Floyd's biggest attribute is being able to make his opponent switch their game plan. 10 out of 10 Floyd beats Hatton.
