Hatton interview with Sky last night

Was watching an interview on Sky last night with Ricky Hatton..here's a few things he said..

    - Had 25,000+ ticket applications for allocated 3,900
    - Started preperation three weeks earlier then usual
    - Ricky say's he's gonna jump down Floyd's throat and take his heart from him
    - Ricky's very confident and relaxed and belives a win against Floyd will cement his legacy

He has a bit of weight on him but it's really just on his face,

Interesting. Ithink he will end up with more than 3,900 but no where near as many as he wants.

I think Hattons fans following him anywhere and with going on dancing with the stars (so he will make ALOT of new fans) this fight could easily break 30,000 - 35,000. Just a shame there's nowhere to put them

Good to hear he's getting an earlier start.

I could have lived with more than 3 weeks but anything is positive.

I believe Hatton is going to seize this opportunity and prevail.

A win against Mayweather will rank as one of the great wins in the history of Boxing. It will more than cement his legacy, it will move the planet.

I'm a little sick of hearing this whining and crying about tickets.

Anyone in the UK who wanted to go to this fight should have just done what everyone else has to do when they want tickets for a fight:

Sit in front of your computer the day tickets go on sale and try to get them through ticketmaster just like everyone in the States has to.

Seriously, for a fight with this much interest you're going to have to hustle a bit to get your tickets. Don't rely on some ticket allocation going to agencies in the UK to get tickets for you...do it yourself!!!

Would it be bigger than when Honeyghan beat Curry? At the time Curry was considered P4P no.1 by many.

GUess so. I hear that alot of Limeys are going across jsut to soak in the atmosphere and watch it in the bars and casinos around the actual venue.

I reckon they'll be a kind of football - England away vibe going on. England on a rampage in Las Vegas.

Yes it will. Hatton has more everyman appeal than Honeyghan, and I also think that Mayweather is considered to be a taller order than Curry was. The internet is a factor.
