I'm sure Jet Lag exsists, and I'm sure Hatton has fought that time-frame before. I doubt he's used to it though.

He said: "Richard needs the experience of training aboard for a fight for the very first time, getting used to that, he needs to have the experience of doing everything the American television and media will expect him to do, getting used to the different time zones, fighting in front of an American crowd - all that.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander...right?
Tszyu had fought abroad before though.

        Absolutely nothing wrong with that..

But if you want to use "time zones" as an excuse/reason, then you have to be willing to accept it when somebody else uses it.

        True?

Excuses, excuses. Do you think a great champ like Zoo would use some dumbass excuse like a time zone difference.

Bottom line: the better fighter won and made a HOF fighter quit on his stool.

In that type of house? At that time?

It would SEEM to me that having fought abroad previously (Vegas, for example) wouldn't necessarily acclimate him to 2am Man time.

I fly from NYC to Cali, and I'm ****ed.

True. But i never denied that THAT could be the reason Kostya lost. I just said, he looked good against Mitchell. Not so much against Hatton. I haven't seen him fight since, so it's hard to put Hattons win into perspective, and hard to determine if the timezone thing had anything to do with it.

And please slow your roll on the Tszyu HoF candidacy. IMO, Tszyu doesn't have an HoF resume.

Certainly not on par with the best fighters of his own generation.

The whole "timezones" thing on it's own is relatively minor. But an aggregate of Zoo's age, the time and location of the fight, and Zoo's inactivity ?

Well, as I said: I would have liked to see them prime -for- prime. Dat all.

I think we all can agree on that. And on neutral ground. (AKA America)

                      Smokin,

Why do you get so emotional if you even THINK that someone may be saying (or implying ) something negative about hatton?

That is , errr, odd. Calmate, mija.
