lol @ dios not putting Mayweather vs Dlh as a close loss.Comment

He beat JCC when he was 96-1. At the time I would have considered JCC an elite fighter. I know because I was going for JCC because I didnt like DLH back then. You ****ing said that if you fought the best fighters, then you must have been "damn good". I disputed that and gave you examples to support my assertion. My point remains that merely FIGHTING the best doesn't validate your greatness. BEATING the best does that. You were wrong; now get over it.
Oscar Delahoya has been competitive in - but lost - all of his top fights. Oscar's BEST win was Ike Quartey. Oscar's record in big fights against his toughest comp is poor. He has five losses, and has failed to dominate an elite opponent. He has lost to MW's (hop & sturm) and he has lost to LW's (shane & pbf).
Quartey - good win...some dispute it.
Pernell - disputed win
Shane 1 - clear loss
Shane 2 - disputed/close loss
Hopkins - knocked out
Trinidad - disputed/close loss
Mayweather - clear loss
Sturm - disputed win
Note: I only put in Sturm b/c that was his middleweight debut.
Further, here are guys who WOULD beat Oscar: Winky Wright, Vernon Forrest, Kassim Ouma. And Cory Spinks would have a very good chance.Comment
