You resort to this now that I dust you up in this mini debate?

Let's try to stay on the subject.

I think I've proven my point.

This is only personal for his fans.

Is it personal for Welter or Anorak when they destroy Mayweather fans in debate?

    Hardly.

Although again; I think we're having some trouble linking up..

I'm not interested in trying to convince a staunch Cotto fan/supporter that his guy is a dirty fighter. That won't work anyways now will it?..

He LOW BLOWED Corley, Torres, and Judah.

He's punched MANY MANY MANY of his opponents IN THE BACK including Quintana, Urkal, and Judah..

          All accidents right, Gringo???

I can dig into his earlier fights - but is that even fair of me?

Are you and this debate worth my ****ing effort? Not completely, Gringo.

IT'S THERE, GRINGO. I don't need to find 30 bodies to know I have a serial offender - all I need is 3 or 5 to know there's a problem.

Your favorite fighter Miguel Cotto is DIRTY by any reasonable definition..

          Happy now?
Whether they were all accidents is what is being dissected here by you and I. I'm willing to give a humble, seemingly good sportsman like Cotto the benefit of the doubt.

Low blows happen in boxing. You would be hard pressed to find a fighter who hasn't thrown low on several occasions. Are they all dirty cheaters too? There is a monumental difference between the low shots that Cotto has connected with (yes by accident) and say...oh...Andrew Golota.

The Quintana clip you showed looks just like it did the first 50 times I watched it...live or otherwise. Cotto goes to throw a shot to Quintana's ribs/side (like the one Hatton hit Castillo with) and Quintana ducks his head and side away from the punch, hence the punch lands on his lower back. You can actually see Quintana anticipate the punch as Cotto throws it, he turns away, and he feels the result. Cotto's glove slides a bit across his back after the initial contact (like Hattons did with Castillo as well). Again, should Cotto pull the punch because he sees Quintana turning away? You think there is time in the ring to analyze that type of ****?

This would be a much larger controversy if he really hit people illegally as often as you make it seem. I think you may be sensationalizing a bit...stating, "Miguel has no problems accruing damage with illegal punches. That is his game.

A game that works. A game that gets wins."

That's just false information. That or Cotto is a mastermind, surgeon-like puncher who owns a crystal ball that tells him he will get away with this stuff come fight night.

          • Not to mention that Quintana turned away from that punch at the last second. It still was a legit shot. It was just a hair away from being in the exact same spot RJJ knocked out Virgil Hill.

I busted ya up pretty good. Your rebuttal was pretty weak. What about Quintana turning into the shots earlier???????

It's called gamesmanship. Doesn't effect the outcome so stop bitchin' about it. Mosley's gonna whip Cotto's ass pretty good anyways,

                    I'm tired of your semantics.

                    You like Cotto.
