I hear that the finals is pretty much set, I won't be saying who is in it yet since it remains to be seen if that is the truth.
Why is Sakio Bika on the Contender?

I also heard the finals are just about set but i don't know how true it is.. I wonder if what I heard will pan out but regardless this season is the most talented by far in my opinion... Soliman, Bika, and Codrington are all threats..Comment

Lol, wow, I won't even comment on how subliminal that message was. I think Paul smith is pretty impressive also should be good to see him fight. Jaidon going all the way though.Last edited by SkillspayBills; 09-13-2007, 07:09 PM.Comment

Umm...because he's actually a "Contender", and not a random nobody or amateur fresh off the street. Should've been this way since the beginning.Comment

yea it was brinkley, and then brinkley complained like a little ***** that reid didnt fight the way that brinkley wanted him too. what a disgrace... he gets beat and has the balls to say reid should have fought differently so brinkley could of fought better. what a douchbag...Comment

I was at one of my boxers fights back a few years ago (I was training guys but still attempting to be active as a fighter myself at the time) and I asked SRL about the upcoming "Contender" show that everyone was talking about (Season 1 hadnt started yet) and he told me as a former world title challenger I was too experienced, etc.
I am not sure why they changed the criteria only three seasons in but I will tell you this much... one thing you do not see is seriously gifted or tall or freakishly athletic guys etc on the show....It's like when Chad Dawson tried out for season 1 and didn't make it. With his height and boxing ability it was easy to see that he wouldn't have been good forthe drama of the show because he could have slicked his way to 4 very boring but easy wins in a row and won the million bucks. 5 round fights would have been a nightmare to fight him or anybody like him (or Andre Dirrel, etc) in.Comment
