  • Why is Sakio Bika on the Contender?

I thought this show was for unknowns and amateurs coming up. Someone correct me.

I'm pretty sure they're changing it. Plus, after losing to Bute, Bika's looking to make some money now. I think Bika's pro career is at at an all time low now. So, if he wins the contender. which I believe he can. Don't they get like 1 million dollars or more if the boxer wins? Thats good money for Bika. Hell, he can probably even retire from boxing if he wins the contender, if they still pay the people like 1 mil if you win. Retire and have a normal but not too fancy of a life. HAHAHA

Why would you retire after all the exposure you would get, these contender guys are getting TITLE SHOTS, winning the contender puts you right back into title contention.

Or take the money and go to Asia and live like a king. ****.

Isn't it a little unfair to the competition though? The experience that Bika brings with his 25 pro fights?

Sam Soliman is on the show aswell, isn't he? I think he has a ****load more fights then bika if I remember correctly. And no its not an unfair advantage, the other boxers knew what they were getting into.

Sam Soliman has 42 pro fights. They are putting in some CONTENDERS and not just nobodies these days.

Since it's super middle weights I wish Edison Miranda would be on the contender for the hell of it.
