pavlik took miranda´s shots with ease, had his gameplan and wanted to back him up, and while doing so, he beat the **** out of him. he will take taylors best, to dish out his best.

taylors chin is questionable, can he take it, to give it..i dont think so..

    pavlik by **** and ko..!

what we have seen, is a taylor, who doesnt follow instructions, a taylor who is easely backed up, even by smaller fighters and those with much less fire power then pavlik.

in every round, pavlik is going to put pressure on, and make taylor fight backwards, which for some is good, but for me spells his doom. taylor doesnt look good under pressure, even winky made him back up, and when he did, made taylor look bad. that just doesnt work against pavlik.

i must say though, that eventhough tayloer has looked bad, he has fought top notch fighters, which translates to, that you wont look good every round, in every fight.. i respect taylor, for his choices, he has boxed the best in his div, and should recieve praise for doing so.. but everything has to come to an end, and it will when he gets beaten bad by pavlik.

I have only seen 2 of Pavlik's fights so my analysis can't be spot on but from what I have seen I can tell you this. Pavlik is a fighter who comes forward, one hell of a chin, and power in both fists. In his fight with Edison Mranda he exposed Edison for not having much technical ability. Edison swung wide and Kelly shot right up the middle and IMPOSED HIS WILL. I wouldn't call him a mindless brawler like some people do because technically people underate his technical ability, he definitely was not swinging as wildly as Edison was. To beat Kelly you have to switch up between boxing and brawling, with the latter being used sparringly. I say Jermain should box Kelly and keep him at the end of his punches. The one flaw I saw with Kelly is when he was in the middle of the ring (which Jermain STILL doesn't realize that he beats EVERYONE in the middle of the ring) he wasn't nearly as effective as he was when he had Edison on the ropes. Jermain needs to stop all that bull**** backpeddling into the ropes and he needs to keep it in the middle of the ring, use that monster jab that seems to have gone away, and brawl when he has the upper hand and can go for the kill. Jermain can SAY he is going to stand toe to toe but he will only do so at certain times, when he has the upper hand, and when Kelly is already hurt. Jermain hasn't had a knockout in a while so I don't know if he would get one against a stone chined Pavlik but I will give him a UD, since Manny Steward will have one hell of a gameplan.

Good analysis skills. I also think that if Jermain would use his AMAZING jab h could easily win all his fights and a lot more by knockout but he never seems to do this. The only way I see him winning is to stay off the ropes and when he trades flurry and get out. Pavliks defense is leaky at times and if he can flurry and get out he will score a lot of points on the cards. Jermain by UD I think in this one.

Jermain's time is up. I think Jermain will quit if he doesn't get tkoed before. I haven't seen a bad ass middleweight like Pavlik in the longest time.
Pavlik's confidence is at an all time high. Taylor on the other hand, I don;t know how u feel when you run away from little Ouma, hug on him every time he touches you and then you're afraid to get hit from Spinks. I can't wait for that beatdown it would be beautiful!

Well I'm picking Pavlik. But obviously, Taylor will go off the favorite. I'd say 3-1 by fight time. Any thoughts on this?

I predict no KO's on September 29th. I'd be suprised if either guy is knocked down. I don't think this will be the best fight of the year(my bet is Cotto-Mosley) but it will entertain. Anything is better than Jermain's last fight. Jermain by SD.

I pick Pavlik by tko,but if he loses who will it raise questions for,Taylor for being lackluster in his last fights ,or Pavlik but then it really depends on the outcome

ohhhh.....what crackhouse are you posting from? If Taylor gets on his bike, he gets caught. If Taylor gets off his bike, he gets beat. Either way, this is not going to be another Mayweather track meet. This one is going to have offensive fireworks. Taylor is going to have to throw down and it's going to be very interesting, indeed.

I also like Pavlik by KO But I'm a bit biased as he's one of my favorite fighters
