What is the greatest boxing performance you have ever seen?

I know that Gatti isn't an A-level, elite fighter. But what PBF did was STILL super-impressive. Scary, even. The way he controlled Gatti and the head-body combos were just sick. That was an unbelievable destruction. Ever seen the punchstats on that fight?

When I watched the Calzaghe fight, I decided by round 2 that Lacy had nothing for this dude. I couldn't believe the skill gulf between them was that wide.

But those fights are nothing compared to the beatdown I would put on this:

I would beat that by K.O..........preferably it would go into the later rounds.

I agree completely. I don't think for a minute that Roy has fought a more perfect fight in his career. That was just brilliant. Forget the Vinni Paz fight.

One of my favorites ever, peep the sig. Hopkins played the mind games so perfectly during that build-up, with the Puerto Rican flag ordeal, fighting in MSG, all the drama surrounding the fight, and Tito was unbeaten at that time.

Golota Bowe 2 was pretty damn good too. He improved on the accuracy of his low blows... every single one seemed to cripple Bowe.

If I said Mayweather brutalizing Gatti would I be to obvious. I mean after that demolishment none of the top names at 140 would be around the same ring as him, let alone fight him.

Why does Floyd beating an old,slow, far past his prime Gatti considered as a great boxing performance? Oscar destroyed him years before. Gatti was completely shot when it came fighting elite competion. Honestly why is Floyds performance considered great when gatti has been in more than his fare share of wars, and is way past his prime? Do you consider Oscar destroying him years before a great performance? I'm guessing you are gonna have some reason to say no.

Barrera taking apart the heavily favored Hamed with pure boxing ability. He made Hamed look like a fool with his precise counter punching and viscous combinations.

This is a valid selection. I remember watching this fight and Barerra schooling Hamed. I loved when he slammed his head into the ring post. The reason this was so great was because no one had ever completely picked hamed apart the way Barerra did.
