That fight probably made the experts or boxing public take notice.

    Please exclude one-punch KO's.

    Some recent examples:

    Winky Wright shutting out Trinidad.

    Joe Calzaghe dominating Lacy

    Mayweather brutalizing Gatti

    Mayweather embarrassing Corrales
Wow, when I saw the title of the thread, the first three matches that came to mind were Mayweather-Gatti, Calzaghe-Lacy and Wright-Trinidad. That's pretty crazy.

Hopkins-Trinidad also comes to mind, considering Trinidad was invincible in the eyes of the public.

Allan Green beating the **** out of Jaidon Codrington (it wasn't a one-punch knockout).

Ricardo Mayorga getting a decision against Vernon Forrest... he took all the punches, he stayed compised, didn't get too wild, and I thought won the fight.

It essentially was. The Don never saw anything after that left hook. The fight was over with that punch.

I don't know why people think Jaidon has a suspect chin because of that fight when it is obvious it was a hook to the temple that put him on the *****est of streets.

I really thought Jones had murdered Ruiz in the ring when it came to pure boxing during that match, but what tops my list would have to be...

I'm actually not sure because i've seen so many good performances..

I take back what I said about not knowing.

This fight tops the list and I just watched it like a week ago but i still watch it a great amount of time.

Whitaker put on a clinic of great boxing performances. The best pure boxer of the modern era IMO.

Ali beating Williams...that was probably Ali at his very best...a bit like Mayweather being at his very best against Gatti. However, Gatti was tailor made for Mayweather and the result was a given when the contracts were signed.
