Who if anyone is faster than Mayweather?

I have always said Mayweather's hand-speed is extremely over-rated.

His is only above average. He doesn't have the kind of hand-speed that makes you say WOW. He is not a Hector Camacho. He is not a Meldrick Taylor. He is not a Shane Mosley. He is not a Roy Jones Jr. He is not a James Toney. He is not a Zab Judah.

I think many people get confused about how Mayweather is fast. When people say Mayweather is fast, they are talking about his reflexes. He does have significantly above average reaction times.

Hand-speed, no. Reaction times, yes.

It is three things that make Mayweather seem blazing when he is only just fast.

1. Reaction time, as stated above - His pull counter straight right hand (that he used to end the N'dou fight) looks very fast, because he knows exactly when to jerk back and when to come forward.

2. Accuracy - The fact that Floyd doesn't miss often doesn't leave him off balance often, meaning he can throw another shot pretty quickly.

3. Technique - His punches are remarkably straight in most instances. You've heard the expression, "The shortest distance between two points is a straight line." This means Floyd eliminates extra distance that his punches must travel, a la, faster looking punches.

Firstly, I think Zab only has fast single punches, his combinations are fast, but not as blistering. Secondly, combos matter more in boxing and I think Calzone throws faster combos than Floyd considering he's 20lbs heavier.
