Oscar was the reason people tuned into 24/7. Mayweather was the reason people stayed interested in 24/7. Lord knows that show would have been awful if Mayweather had not been integral.
If Floyd Is Sooo Rich

Yeah, Oscar De La Hoya was. And getting more to boot.
What have I said about Floyd that could be viewed as a personal attack, or me speaking of him like I know him? What I've said is common knowledge. Why do comment personally on a person you don't know personally?
I'm sure he did, he's a Vegas guy and loves to gamble, and there's nothing wrong with that. But he never flaunted his money in that fashion and the way he does currently, before Oscar gave him a TV show.So are you saying prior to 24/7 PBF didn't bet on basketball games?
I've been watching boxing for 15 years, I know the difference.Oscar didn't make **** of PBF's name you have to understand the difference between name recognition between boxing fans and mainstream society.
Yeah, if you're talking entire world population. I'm sure there are billions of people who don't know who Oscar is....in Africa. On the whole, even people who don't watch boxing know who Oscar De la Hoya is, he's equal parts celebrity as he is boxer. Mayweather isn't, but he's trying to be with the hip hop crowd. Most people still don't know who PBF is and believe it or not there are plenty of people who don't know who De la Hoya is. Not saying that De la Hoya isn't extremely famous but everybody doesn't know who he is.
No doubt Mayweather played an important role in that fight being sold so well, he cast himself as the "bad guy" in the perfect manner and got people talking. But it was Oscar's management team that promoted the fight and paid for everything from TV time to commercial spots.Just as PBF made it possible for him to break records with that fight and make the most money De la Hoya has ever made in a fight.
I have no problem with that statement at all. I'm just pointing out that Oscar played the biggest role in making Mayweather more well known. Mayweather himself is doing a fine job of it on his own now, he just needed a leg up and Oscar gave it to him.Come man yes De la Hoya was the major draw but everything you saying in comparison of them can be said of 97% of all the boxers De la Hoya has fought.Comment

Most athlete's don't publicly speak on the different donations he/she has made....If Floyd Is Sooo Rich And He Keeps Saying "i Make It Rain" Why Dont He ****ing Donate His Money To Schools, Church And Foundations Instead Of ****ing Throwing It In The Air. This Guy Lacks Attention. Even If He Is Popular He Still Feels That He Shoudl Still Get Attention. Probably Its Because Of His Dad Never Noticing All The Good Things He Has Done That's Why He Is Doing Immature Bull**** To Show Off To People.Comment
