It's a little known fact that Floyd actually really helps his community out by donating to Schools and Charities. I've seen pictures of him doing Charity work, which helped patch up my negative image of him in some degree. However, I agree on the whole. If you're rich and want to help people out, there's much better and less arrogant ways to do so other than by throwing wads of cash up in the air for strangers.

Can you imagine if Bill Gates did something like this? He's already the most hated man in the world, and I honestly don't know why because he donates almost half of his money every year to poor undevolped Countries all over the world. But if he did somethig this over the top? They'd be calling for his head on a stick.

Still, it seems as if he's trying to buy love from fans with hs money. Prior to the Oscar fight, on 24/7 Mayweather was doing his best ot flaunt his money by betting on basketball games and showing off his cash. I think that he may have been the slightest bit insecure of Oscar's status, not his boxing status because Floyd is clearly the better boxer....but his overall public status.

You have to remember, Oscar made Floyd as far as his name goes. Oscar was the one who was responsible for that fight getting the coverage it did because he was the man managing it's publicity. Oscar was also the man that signed Mayweather's $20 million check, prior to that Floyd was making around $8 million a fight, Oscar made it possible for him to make $20.

And without Oscar, Mayweather would still be making around $8 million.

You talk as if $8 million is chump change. Also no other fighter was getting $8 million a fight. Why do comment personally on a person you don't know personally? So are you saying prior to 24/7 PBF didn't bet on basketball games? Oscar didn't make **** of PBF's name you have to understand the difference between name recognition between boxing fans and mainstream society. Most people still don't know who PBF is and believe it or not there are plenty of people who don't know who De la Hoya is. Not saying that De la Hoya isn't extremely famous but everybody doesn't know who he is. Just as PBF made it possible for him to break records with that fight and make the most money De la Hoya has ever made in a fight. Come man yes De la Hoya was the major draw but everything you saying in comparison of them can be said of 97% of all the boxers De la Hoya has fought.

Not if you are PBF. PBF has to live by a different set of rules then everybody else. I guess you didn't get the memo.
