Will Paul Williams fight again in 2007?

P-dub lost a lot of my respect when I found out that he turned down the Marg rematch, there may be more to the story but that is the general statement I heard.

Margarito didn't want to fight Paul until he was his mandatory... I don't see why Williams shouldn't return the favor and make Margarito work his way up to be Williams's mandatory.

Also, I think the rookie up there was comparing Williams/Margarito to Taylor/Hopkins I because both Taylor and Williams won more rounds, but if it was a contest of who got more damage done to them over the 12 rounds collectively, then Margarito and Hopkins would have won. Neither of them were even remotely hurt throughout their fights, and they both had their opponents at least shaken up a few times.

shut your ****sucker up. that fight was no where near identical to hopkins-taylor. i love Pun haters, cuz they only seen one fight. i bet you didnt know paul went to the hospital in puerto rico like a week b4 the fight. he had an injured hand and rib and he took those body punches like a pro. even if he wasnt hurt, he schooled margarito. marg only really won 2 rounds. if you gave him anymore than that you are stretching.

First off, i didnt say it was like Hopkins-taylor in the fight itself, i mean in what the guys looked like after the fight. PWill was beat up. He was. I believe he won the fight. I dont think it was as far apart a score as you have declared. I think it was more like 7-5 or 8-4, and I dont think that's a stretch at all.

Secondly, margarito did beat cintron, but what does that have to do with Pwill? My response was about Cintron fighting Pwill. I dont believe the crap about, "well A beat B, and C beat A, so C can beat B." I dont think Pwill beats Marg again, and i certainly dont think he beats Cintron. I like PWill, this isnt and anti PWill thing, it's just what i think would happen. In fact, i think Pwill has a shot to outpoint Mayweather if they fought, I just dont see him "knocking anyone's brakes off."

ok true, but you only gave marg 4-5 rounds because he did not look as bad as he did in those rounds you scored for williams. margarito only outboxed paul in 2 rounds maaaaaybe 3. anymore and you're just playing yourself.

there is zero talk of him in any fight. none at all. for some reason i could see him not fighting the rest of the year and only put in one fight for 2007.

why? not saying your opinion is not valid, but why? all the big fights today are at 147. it is the glamour division.

I just don't think the weight division he is right now is his natural weight. He was pretty weight drained when fighting Margarito. But you are right though, where he is right now has more competition.
